The Cold War was never this cold…

CIA analyst Julie Severin hates anything to do with Russia—the country that killed her cold war spy father. She also has a phobia about large bodies of water. Needless to say, she is horrified when she is ordered at the last minute to join an international team of scientists going deep under the frigid waters of the Arctic on an ancient Russian rust bucket of a submarine. Her mission: to recover a tiny data card hidden somewhere on the sub by a murdered CIA mole…and while she’s at it, acquire the sub’s arrogant but annoyingly attractive commander as the asset’s replacement.

When Julie’s life is suddenly threatened by an enemy agent hunting the same hidden microcard, she must turn to her nemesis for help. But the killer handsome Russian captain is hiding his own shocking secrets…

Or this hot…

Daring rogue submarine driver Captain Nikolai Kirill Romanoff is having the worst year of his life. Unfairly disgraced and demoted to driving the oldest, most dilapidated excuse for a diesel submarine in the entire Russian Navy, Nikolai’s youthful KGB past has come back to haunt him in a way he never anticipated: a compulsory undercover mission that will require all his considerable skill as an operative , a submariner…and as a man. Nikolai, his crew, and nine innocent scientists are now hovering at the bottom of the Bering Strait in a 2000 sq foot tin coffin, under attack from an unknown enemy, and he must extract information vital to their survival from a beautiful American spy—by any means necessary.

As Nikolai and Julie frantically join forces to save the floundering vessel from a treacherous blitz attack that threatens to send them all to a watery grave, the two former adversaries find themselves fighting a losing battle against a sizzling attraction that far surpasses international borders, ancient hurts, and a ruthless common enemy.

Cover Reveal #1

The second book of Veronica Roth’s Divergent Trilogy’s cover has been released yesterday. The book will be hitting shelves in May 2012. A antagonizing wait for this!
I have yet to start this series, just like others waiting. Hope to do this before the next book.
This is not a meme, but I’ll make posts like this whenever a cover is revealed, from series that I like.

First Line Friday #1

First Lines Friday is a bookish meme hosted by Literary Marie of Precision Reviews. We encourage all of our fellow book bloggers and bookhearts to play along.

  • Grab your current read(s)
  • Share the first line(s)
  • Include the title and author so that other FLF participants can add the book to their TBR Lists

The man who was going to stand by and watch while Helen burned to death liked his coffee black.

Helen looked up from her menu and, across the little diner, she saw him sitting there, not twenty feet away.  He was the man of her dreams-or more accurately, of her visions.  Technically it was just one vision.  Over and over.  She was going up in flames while he watched.  Smiling at her.

My series of passion for the moment: Sentinels. I’m on book one and already can’t put it down, but sice I’m in tests week on college, is taking a little longer for me to finish it.

The lines are from book one on this series, called Burning Alive by Shannon K. Butcher.

This Week’s Question:

“As a book blogger, how do you introduce yourself in your profile?”

My Answer:

Loved this one! And the answer is very simple: as a book lover. I like to keep things simple, why complicate them? So I say the things that I love. Books, flowers and dogs.

Follow Friday #2

Happy Follow Friday!

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee where book lovers make new friends and find new blogs. So sign up for Follow Friday on this Link and start following.

This Week’s Question:

It’s that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

My Answer:

I have to say is kinda obivious, especially since I like so much magic. I wan’t to live in London, Harry Potter’s world. It’s seems so much fun to be able to twist your wand and make every wishes come true. And speak Latin. I don’t know about you but I think is sexy!

Oh, and Neville is mine, so back off bitches!!
