Goddess Test #1

It’s always been just Kate and her mom—and her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate’s going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear her mother won’t live past the fall. Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld—and if she accepts his bargain, he’ll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.
Kate is sure he’s crazy—until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she succeeds, she’ll become Henry’s future bride, and a goddess.
I have this book fro a while in my book shelf, and is interesting that when I first read the summary I couldn’t wait to read it, but now that I have every week shows up another book and he keeps being left behind. Hopefully not for long.

  1. This book was out for awhile before I finally bought it…and I'm so glad that I did! I loved it. The blend between modern times and mythology was incredible. Although a little predictable, the story is really sweet. I really recommend you starting it soon! Check out my review for it on my blog if you'd like!Kristan @ Lost Amongst the Shelves

  2. I haven't read this one either. I keep saying that I will buy it the next time I order from TBD or Amazon, but I keep changing it for a different book. It's supposed to be very good though! Hope you get round to reading it soon!

  3. Oh, just read this book with Falling Under on a 5 hour plane ride, and you'll finish both. At least, that's what I did 🙂 This was a really amazing book, book 2 is going to be great! Can't wait! Hope you get to read it soon! Happy reading!
