Summary:

After being unceremoniously dumped by her long-time boyfriend, Stacy Washington hits one of the hottest clubs in town with her best friend, Nina. Stacy decides it’s time to shed her good girl persona by letting go of her inhibitions. Relationships are trouble; casual sex is simple.

When she sees sexy bartender, Evan, she’s instantly intrigued by his dark, good looks and his killer smile. Before she has a chance to get to know him better, an equally sexy prospect comes her way and this one is ready to play. Justin’s not shy about telling Stacy exactly what he wants. She plans to have her way with both him and Evan until she finds out they’re close friends. This could be awkward or this could be the most exhilarating experience of Stacy’s life. She decides to take the plunge by coming between friends–in more ways than one.

Review:

This was a novella, but I found it completely strange to end with a cliffhanger. Still don’t understand why they couldn’t just make a novel  with the entire story. There’s not a lot waiting to happen with these three. I liked Stacy and the way she took control of her love life and decided to change. But she’s too insecure to actually participate in a menage relationship with these tow guys, because for me Justin and Evan are a bit on the controlling side and this could become a bad situation way too fast.

I liked Nina and she was a great friend to Stacy, always helping her see the big picture and trying to put some different thoughts on the line, their conversations are nice and without judgment. I liked Nina and it would be nice to read a book with her finding love and a great guy.

The story was nice and the guys were a good thing, but Stacy needs to learn more about life and her positions. I think this time apart is going to help her a lot.

Review:

The first thing that crossed my mind after reading this summary was not Derek. He’s the boy wonder and Kate got really attached to him during the first two books, but the worst part wasn’t this. After starting this book I realized that Jim was not that smart and during all this he was lying to Curran.

So Kate had to save the day and the boy wonder, but the Curran barely appeared during the first half in this book and I was really hoping for the development in their relationship. So after all the danger and the running Curran finally appeared and things really heated on the hot tube.

I liked the investigation in this book because it was a different kind of mythology and Kate managed to impress everyone with her powers. He secret is pretty much out and now she’s afraid of dear father.

I liked this book, but didn’t like some of His Furriness attitude, it was a nice story and I got some confused during the explanation, but Kate saved the night and Curran saved Kate later, so win-win.

I received this book from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Summary:

The first installment in a sexy new paranormal romance series by Larissa Ione, author of the bestselling Demonica series!

A WOMAN OUT FOR BLOOD

Now she devotes her life to finding a vaccine against vampirism, hoping to wipe out her memories—along with every bloodsucker on the planet. But there’s one thing she cannot destroy: her searing, undeniable attraction for the one man she should hate and fear the most . . .

A VAMPIRE OUT FOR REVENGE
A member of the renegade vampire MoonBound Clan, Riker is haunted by demons of his own. When he recognizes Nicole and remembers how her family enslaved his loved ones, his heart burns for vengeance. But when he kidnaps Nicole and holds her in a secret lair, his mortal enemy becomes his soul obsession, his greatest temptation, and, perhaps, his only salvation—a hot-blooded lover who could heal him with her touch . . . or bury him forever.

Review:

I got this book because I loved the Demonica series. So that gave me a very nice taste of Larissa Ione work. This book was more about explanations, because it’s the first in a series, so the author was introducing us to her new universe and I liked knowing these characters.

So in this new universe the humans know about the vampires and enslaved them a few years ago, but they also made them ginea pigs and experimentation is very disturbing. The humans are not the good guys and the free vampires live in the wild, they created clans and live in caves. Nothing to rudimentary, because they actually made a very nice living. We also discovered that vampires fight among each clan, but hey are living in a truce at the moment.

The humans almost destroyed the vampires, but Nicole is hoping to find a cure to vampirism, her family is really important and they have a company that is specialized in vampires, but Nicole doesn’t really know everything that is going on and her stepbrother is actually an ass. But Nicole is the good girl and her fear is only because she was attacked really young and almost died.

On the other side we have Riker and he’s a nice vampire, doesn’t kill humans for fun, but his mate suffered a lot with Nicole family and he resent her a lot, but he’s a nice guy and I liked the way he accepted Nicole.

It was a big book but the story was really good and I liked Nicole.

Review by Melissa

Easy was my first ever New Adult novel that I read and fell in love with. The reason that I’m writing this review now and not a few months ago as I should have is because I back then couldn’t find the right words to describe how wonderful and inspiring this book really is. Actually, I still don’t think I have the right words and I believe I will never do, but it’s time for me to write more than “I loved this book so much!”.

First of all, I’d like to praise the author of this amazing book. Tammara Webber is an author that knows how to deliver a story with such a tough subject and at the same time, bring out hope and encourage her readers to think more about it. She kind of turns on the lights of a very dark room with the help of humor, romance and the harsh reality of the extremes sick people tend to do to innocent ones.

In Easy, Jackie is almost raped by someone she knows, but is saved by the handsome Lucas who happened to be near her at the right time. Even if the deed wasn’t done all the way through, this event left her emotionally drained and terrified to be a victim again. But life goes on, and she has to live with the nightmare and hope that it never happens to her again.

Lucas is incredible. He’s more than a knight in shining armor. He is a fighter, attentive, caring and a beautiful broken boy who needs his own savior to save him from his inner demons. Oh, how I loved to read about him. Jackie is one lucky girl to have found him. The chemistry between them was … HOT. And, even though their relationship was complicated-tempers were always brimming at their limits and tension would break out constantly between them-they were both perfect for each other.

Easy is so, so good from cover to back that I will be rereading it once I get a break from my ever-growing TBR pile. This book is the kind that leaves a mark. It makes you giddy and excited. It makes you laugh and then stuns you in shock. It’s a book worth reading over and over again until you know every line by heart. I definitely recommend it to everyone who loves the New Adult genre.

Review:

I have a serious problem with this cover, but other than that the story was perfect. I started reading this book last year right after I finished the first one, but wasn’t really into the story and decided to stop and give it another try later. This time was the perfect moment because Kate made me rush to finish this book and pick the next one.

Can’t wait for the moment she actually starts a romantic relationship with Curran because he’s a perfect bastard for her and let’s face it, she needs someone in her side and he’s definitely very strong.

In this book she is once again working along with the Pack, because after the big finale in the previous book, Kate got the Friend of the Pack status and she can help them. Now she’s working with the Order, but she’s not part of it, like a hired help and the Pack only trust her.

I liked this book because we got the felling Kate is more human now. Kate got more friends now and also a kid. Strange right, but she is always protecting the weak and defenseless. Now she’s like a cool aunt.

I’m not talking a lot about the investigation, but for only one thing. I really liked Bran and he made Kate think more about time and her life.

Summary:

There’s nowhere better to spend the holidays than with New York Times bestselling author Susan Mallery in the town of Fool’s Gold, where love is always waiting to be unwrapped… Noelle Perkins just got a second chance at life, and she intends to make the most of every minute. That’s why she ditched a frustrating legal career to open her own store in Fool’s Gold, California. The Christmas Attic celebrates everything that’s magical about her favorite season. Business is booming, and as a bonus, gorgeous army doctor Gabriel Boylan has offered to help out during the holiday rush.
Gabriel’s memories of Christmas past contain more sour grapes than sugar plums, thanks to a drill sergeant father who ran his home like a boot camp. Spending the holidays with his family while he recuperates from injury sounds as appetizing as last year’s eggnog. Still, there are some enjoyable distractions in town, including sunny, sexy Noelle…and the red-hot mistletoe kisses they can’t stop sharing.
Gabriel didn’t think he was made for happily-ever-afters. But when fate hands you a love as sweet and surprising as this, only a fool could refuse….

Review:

This novella was actually really long and I liked the fact we got to understand more of Boylan family. This is the closing link in this trilogy and we got to see Gabriel falling in love and rediscovering his family.

Noelle we had met previously in this trilogy and she was hiding something, but never got to actually say anything about it with the other girls, but this time she met an infuriating man and he got to know her secrets. She didn’t do anything wrong, but life wasn’t easy either and now she’s starting new with her Christmas store.

This book is set during Christmas and I love the setting, the places and of course there’s always snow so everything is better. But this year Christmas was a little hard and Noelle needed help, so Gabriel was the perfect match because he was running from his family and trying to discover what to do with his future.

I loved this couple and of course meeting those other couples again. But the best part was Christmas and getting the family together again.
