As the new CEO of the biggest up-and-coming bakery empire in the US, Max Gray knows one thing: he absolutely cannot screw this up. Which is the very thing that would happen if he laid a finger on the owner’s–and his best friend’s–younger sister, Carina. Carina Conte is an ugly duckling in an ocean of swans. Everybody in her family still treats her like a little girl, despite her MBA and everything she’s done to show them otherwise. Even worse? Her long-time crush, Max, barely notices her. Totally unacceptable. While away at a business conference, Carina and Max get caught up in the heat of the moment and have a scorching one-night stand but are busted the next morning by Carina’s brother and mother. When her traditional Italian family forces them into marriage to keep her good name, Carina is determined to make the best of her new life…until she learns Max wants anything but his new marriage or young wife. Her new husband is about to realize that hell hath no fury like a woman transformed.

This series is sweet and so much easy to love, and I loved to watch destiny and the Mother Earth help these women finding their happily ever after, but this book is actually my favorite and Carina is a really special girl and deserved this happiness.

At first I thought Max was just a womanizer but them I discovered he has some darkness in his past and the way he handles his affairs. He doesn’t lie and every girl knows from the start there’s no relationship and no future, but everything changed so fast for him.

Carina was such a sweet girl in the last book, that it was a complete change when I saw her grow up and acting all strong. Their relationship was actually a big jump and I didn’t like how she changed so much after their night together.

Carina was so strong and just surrendered to her mother in one second. I understood Max and his reasons to accept, but he could have tried a little better during the actual marriage.

I liked this series and believe their will be a next one very soon.

Convinced that Michael is in love with her married gal pal, Maggie agrees to keep up the ruse if he’ll keep away from her friend. Besides, she’s not attracted to charming, ridiculously hot billionaires who drive her nuts. I like this series so far, but it’s not the wow kinda books for me. The first book had a good story and introduced some characters that to me were more interesting than the lead couple and now we have the way these two fell in love.

Michael was really charming and showed a great sense of family and respect in the first book, but at first I didn’t believe in this crazy relationship with Maggie, but these two were good together.

Maggie is not this irresponsible person we first met, she has a good career and it’s successful and rich, but her family was really bad and it affects the way she handles her friendship and how alone she is.

It was interesting seeing Maggie in Italy and how good she was with Michael family. She tried to be better for them, but still showed a side of her.

I liked this book better than the first one, but this was really good.

A marriage in name only…

To save her family home, impulsive bookstore owner, Alexa Maria McKenzie, casts a love spell. But she never planned on conjuring up her best friend’s older brother—the powerful man who once shattered her heart.

Billionaire Nicholas Ryan doesn’t believe in marriage, but in order to inherit his father’s corporation, he needs a wife and needs one fast. When he discovers his sister’s childhood friend is in dire financial straits, he offers Alexa a bold proposition.

A marriage in name only with certain rules: Avoid entanglement. Keep things all business. Do not fall in love. The arrangement is only for a year so the rules shouldn’t be that hard to follow, right?

Except fate has a way of upsetting the best-laid plans…

There was a huge talk about this book and since I love a little romance I decided to give it a try. since this Entangled line is new.

I liked some parts better than others, but I understand the hype. The thing for me was Nicholas and they way he cut people from his life, even his own sister after the disaster his parents were. But I liked how he turned things around and he doubts made him more human to me when some facts happened. This marriage was not supposed to be real but I liked how Nicholas stop thinking about the relationship and just moved with the flow for most parts.

Alexa was a great girl, but I didn’t bond with her and how pushy she is during the book. Girl one thing is a dog and another very different is a take like eight home when you know someone is not going to like. Anyway some off her attitudes were a little extreme to me and her family is really loving and caring so her reasons for the secret were a bunch of bullshit to me.

I liked the other characters! And Michael is really fun to have around with his sarcasm.
