Romance Review: Cake by Lauren Dane

She won’t be satisfied with just one bite…
Art student-slash-bike messenger Wren Davis pursues what she wants. And what she wants now is Gregori Ivanov, rock star of the Seattle art scene. With his tattoos, piercings and sensual sneer, Gregori is the ultimate bad boy. Wren’s gotten to know the man beneath the body art, too—and it only makes her crave him more.
But Gregori loves women like he loves cake and champagne—intensely, but only for the moment. And after Wren experiences just how scorching sex with Gregori is, she’s determined to show him that just one taste won’t be enough…

Due to its strong sexual content, this novel is recommended for readers older than 18.

I have a problem with this cover because in the book Gregori was described as having a bear. So I liked, but is missing a few things. Gregori was perfect for me and I want one just like him. But he found his match in Wren. She’s so perfect for him, because they both love art and work constantly with different art forms, but their lives is nothing glamorous and Gregori is always putting up a front to people that only want him for his connections. I liked the fact Wren can see past that and liked him, for his body only.
I loved the name of this novella, because after you start reading is clear the author wanted to show more their relationship. It’s not just sex and Gregori needed to find a woman like Wren to put his life back on, because his ex was a bitch and totally needed to go.
This is a smaller review because I don’t want to spoil more of the story, but if you have a afternoon off, you should try a quickie with Gregori.
