Gabe, Jace, and Ash: three of the wealthiest, most powerful men in the country. They’re accustomed to getting anything they want. Anything at all. For Gabe, it’s making one particular fantasy come true with a woman who was forbidden fruit. Now she’s ripe for the picking…
When Gabe Hamilton saw Mia Crestwell walk into the ballroom for his hotel’s grand opening, he knew he was going to hell for what he had planned. After all, Mia is his best friend’s little sister. Except she’s not so little anymore. And Gabe has waited a long time to act on his desires.
Gabe has starred in Mia’s fantasies more than once, ever since she was a teenager with a huge crush on her brother’s best friend. So what if Gabe’s fourteen years older? Mia knows he’s way out of her league, but her attraction has only grown stronger with time. She’s an adult now, and there’s no reason not to act on her most secret desires.
As Gabe pulls her into his provocative world, she realizes there’s a lot she doesn’t know about him or how exacting his demands can be. Their relationship is intense and obsessive, but as they cross the line from secret sexual odyssey to something deeper, their affair runs the risk of being exposed—and vulnerable to a betrayal far more intimate than either expected.

I love Maya Banks style and this new series sounds more like erotica than a contemporary, but I actually liked Mia, even if she’s young and had no idea about dominant man in the first few chapters, we can see her trying things for Gabe and discovering a different side of a sex life that is really fitting for her.
I was not a fan of Gabe during some parts and he had some reasons for his reactions and his plans. Another woman hurt him and he’s also trying to understand his parents divorce. He’s controlling and very sure if his needs but I liked how attracted he became during the sex and how much he lots control.
This couple was a nice fit, because they learned together about real love and discovered a nice relationship can be created with some plans and rules.

A woman without a past becomes the pawn of the man who controls her future…
Dev Santos discovers her unconscious and battered, with no memory of who she is. All she knows is that she’s dangerous. Charged with protecting his people’s most vulnerable secrets, Dev is duty-bound to eliminate all threats. It’s a task he’s never hesitated to complete…until he finds himself drawn to a woman who might prove to be the enemy’s most insidious weapon yet.
Stripped of her memories by a shadowy oppressor and programmed to carry out cold-blooded murder, Katya Haas is fighting desperately for her sanity. Her only hope is Dev. But how can she expect to gain the trust of a man who could very well be her next target? For in this game, one must die…
This series was great so far, but this book was not my favorite and for me it was mostly the fact I missed some changeling mojo. The couple was a bit too frost for my taste and I wanted to love more because Dev was such a great guy.
Katya was such a strong girl but in this book she lost her appeal to me and became a bit boring, but I liked the fact she fought all the way to retrieve her memories and tried to make the right thing. I just didn’t connect with her.
Dev was smart enough not to trust her without some precautions. I liked that about him, but he just left some sense along the book and followed her like a puppy to points deserted. Not my favorite action.
I liked the final. It was surprising and very different, plus the changelings are back. Just wish Councilor Ming was death already.

Ashaya Aleine was separated from her son, forced to create a neural implant that will forever enslave her psychically gifted Psy race. After fighting a desperate battle to save her child and escape the PsyNet, she’s lead not to safety, but into the lethal danger of a sniper’s embrace.
Ahh, it’s Dorian book! And I wanted him to be happy with his animal, but he’s so much better than that, he became an incredible sentinel just to prove the pact he’s strong and can be an active part off it. He deserve an incredible woman and I agree with Nalini that Ashaya is perfect to him.
She’s strong and a part of the revolution, she helped save children and fights everyday to keeps secrets from the Council. She has secrets of her own and even battles to keep her twin at bay. She’s like Wonder Woman!!
These two are perfect together and I hoped during the book Ashaya would help Dorian bring his animal out. But the book is more than just that, we also have the humans showing they want to fight too, and the packs have to handle attacks from all the sides.
This was a very action packed book and I loved every minute of it. Ashaya was perfect during her escape moments and so powerful to fight the PsyNet.
