Cutting The Budget – February is gone!

Cutting the Budget 2014

I decided to make this year all about the TBR and visiting Delighted Reader and her idea to keep track of her book shopping made me super giddy to do the same, so after some begging she created this awesome meme.

For this week I had 12.59

I did good and only added books that I really want to read. Bought the new from Jennifer Armentrout and the rest is from NetGalley.

First week of february and most of those series that I love and follow decided to release a new book, so my budge got busted on the first week. I decided to use one of my gift cards for those expensive books. This first list is for the gift card ($30)

Final week of January and I finished in the red, but this last week the wallet said thanks. I think it was a good month and I only spend two gift cards, but have over ten to use until the end of the year, but the most expensive purchase this month was Hope Flames and I still haven’t read it. Anyway I finished the month using 41.74 dollars.

Cutting the Budget – Helping to keep in Track

Cutting the Budget 2014

I decided to make this year all about the TBR and visiting Delighted Reader and her idea to keep track of her book shopping made me super giddy to do the same, so after some begging she created this awesome meme. I think is necessary for me, because I buy way too much and sometimes they are oldies or romances, so less expensive, but when I check the final line at the end of year, the number staring at me is huge.

After some thinking my final number is 500 bucks for the whole year, around 40 for month. It’s still a lot, but there are some series I love releasing this year, and I don’t expect to spend everything, it’s just a guide.

Week One

I was pretty good with this week purchases and also got some books from the Publisher.
