Summary:

When Presley Christensen returns to Whiskey Creek with her little boy after two years away, she has completely changed her life. She’s made peace with her past and overcome the negative behavior that resulted from her difficult childhood. Now she’s back in the small town that was the closest thing to home she ever knew;the town where she can be with the sister who’s her only family.

There’s just one catch. Aaron Amos still lives in Whiskey Creek, at least until he moves to Placerville to open a branch of the Amos brothers’ auto body shop. And no matter how hard she’s tried, Presley hasn’t been able to get over him. Seeing him again makes the longing so much worse. But she hopes she can get through the next few months, because she can’t fall back into his arms;or his bed. She’s come too far to backslide now. And there’s a secret she’s been guarding;a secret she’ll do anything to protect.

Review:

This story was not what I expected. This series always makes me cry in a good way, but in this book I couldn’t connect with anyone and that left me a little unsatisfied. With also got way to much side story, and that has never happened before. I was not happy with the way Cheyenne handled her problems and it felt like a betrayal to me. I loved her book and it was not necessary to me the way she acted.

The real story was more of the same with Presley still in love and now she decided to move back home, so her sister can help her. The problem is super simple, Aaron the father of her baby is still in town and of course it didn’t take a genius to see the huge disaster ahead.

I liked this couple, but didn’t the way the author chose to simply forget about their problems with drugs, Presley we can see suffered a lot to get back on her feet and start over, but not in one moment is mentioned what Aaron did, when in the previous books we can see he was worst them her with addictions. I wanted to know more about the way they changed in this past two years. but that’s only me.

Tonight’s sinful dessert special…Valentine’s Fantasy

The tasty dish from Benedict restaurant is everything Jessica Lafayette could want… or crave. And it’s not the dessert in front of her—it’s her waiter. A guy with dark, intense eyes that suggest he wants to slowly lick whipped cream off her skin. A smile so wicked it makes her insides lava-cake gooey. And a too-hot-to-handle body that was meant to be tasted…

Yup, Sam The Waiter is better than chocolate.

But what Jessica doesn’t know is that her one-night-waiter is actually Sam Benedict, Upscale Restaurateur. And that her little lie about being from out of town is going to turn into a Big Deal. Now Jessica is in deep hot chocolate… because her Valentine Fantasy is starting to look a lot like a red-hot reality!

Review:

This was a super hot little novella and I can say this month Cosmo really hit the jackpot because I loved their selection and this time was no different. These romances are sweet and fun, full of flirt moments, but the best part for me are they smexy scenes.

Sam was such a nice guy and he treated Jessica like a princess, loved to see the way Jessica let go and enjoyed a very nice evening of hot sex, fulfilling that way her new year promise. Sam was super romantic and I loved they way this book brought to us both of their POV, so we could see what was going on after they went separate ways.

Loved their e-mails, super fun to see Jessica letting go and Morgan was a great friend to her, helping and making worst too.

Review:

I’ve read some reviews of this book and people have some serious problems with the book never having a real sex scene, but this is a sheikh story so I expected some boundaries from the couple. There’s way too much scenes with a sheikh and a hot desert night, but in reality this book felt more real to me because it showed the different world where people are actually virgin in the wedding night.

I loved Irene and her morals, she’s a sweet girl and never expected to fall in love with a big badass sheikh, she just wanted a quiet life with a guy that loved her, but we have this girl following a job offer and putting Sharif in his place. Loved thier converstasion and the way Sharif followed his heart, but also his word.

Summary:

How to Land the Hot Guy 1.0

A multimillionaire by the age of 27, app developer Evie James is clueless when it comes to hooking up. So she does what any self-respecting geek-girl looking to get laid would do: she programs her own app for landing a hot guy. After a few failed attempts at making contact, beta testing leads her to Caleb Anderson.

Caleb is used to female attention, but finds himself attracted to Evie because of her unique brand of awkward. A master of one-night stands, he’s more than happy to show her what she’s been missing in the bedroom. But he quickly discovers that one night with a woman like Evie will never be enough for him…

Photobucket

Review:

Another cute romance, but this time a short story. I liked Evie because she’s a little geek girl like myself and after her boyfriend dumped her we can see that she needed a night out with a real guy taking care of her and Caleb was perfect, he’s only problem was following her afterwards.

I liked to see the change in Caleb and Evie helped him a lot, but the best part for me was how much Caleb helped her change her views about herself and be more sexy. Evie needed this boost in her self-esteem especially after the way her ex left her. Both changed in this novella, but they made a cute and very sexy couple.

Summary:

Wanted: Adventurous, open-minded man willing to try…anything…

As a popular sex blogger, Beatriz gets paid to have orgasms. So being on deadline the week of her sister’s wedding isn’t as rough as it sounds. There’s just one hitch: Bea’s assignment is to write a review of a sex position manual, but she doesn’t have a plus-one to play with.

The good news: Ben, the one who got away back in college, is also attending stag—and he’s as temptingly gorgeous as ever.

The bad news: Ben turned down Bea’s offer of graduation-night sex five years ago.

The best news: He’s not planning on making the same mistake twice….

Photobucket

Review:

This author became one of my favorite erotica creators and the moment I caught her name in this book on NetGalley, let’s jut say Harlequin made my day. This is a short story and there are lots of sex but we can also understand the feelings and emotions. Bea is very successful and her work is a little taboo, but she make it her life and has no fear, she’s a great woman and the way she handled her body made me jealous. I liked Ben too, but we can see clearly that Bea was in charge this week. She needed a partner to review a book, a sex guide and Ben was the one that got away during college, but these two has great chemistry together and they burned the sheets in the first day only.

I liked the reasons they never got together, Bea is very protective of her family and friends, Ben saved the day and I have to say Bea editor is a bad person. Loved the story and this soft erotica novella.

Summary:

She can finally have the one thing she wants. All she has to do is play the happy wife…and not fall in love with her husband.

It’s been three years since Annie Baracas left her husband, Vegas casino owner Nathan Reed, and he still hasn’t signed the divorce papers. So when Nate finally offers to set her free, Annie will agree to any terms. Even if that means temporarily resuming her role as his wife to help him catch a thief. But what starts as a public display quickly turns very private. And Annie can’t help wondering what it might be like to stay in Nate’s bed…for as long as they both shall live.

Photobucket

Review:

I liked Annie and Nathan but never completely understood why she left after being married for only a few days. I thought they were actually a great couple and could be so good together, but I guess is Annie’s fault and her mother way of living every year in a different place. I loved Nathan plan to bring her back and even if his first reason was just to get even, he changed and I think they both needed some closure.

Annie is a professional poker player and Nathan owns a Cassino, they kinda match that way. But I liked the way Nathan used a plan to bring Annie and make her help him catch the players cheating. It’s a big plan and they worked great together, but I confess the book got me surprise in a moment there. Easy five stars for the great couple.

Summary:

USA TODAY bestselling author Janice Maynard takes readers to a holiday hideaway in her new Billionaires and Babies book.

All business, all the time, is billionaire Leo Cavallo’s motto. So two months of forced relaxation is certainly not the CEO’s idea of a Christmas bonus. Then he meets his neighbor, the irresistible Phoebe Kemper, and a storm forces them to become roommates. Suddenly, the holidays are looking a whole lot brighter.

But beautiful Phoebe isn’t living alone. She’s babysitting her infant nephew. Somehow, playing temporary family is surprisingly appealing. But what will Leo choose when it’s time to go home?

Photobucket

Review:

I loved this book, Phoebe needed a change and Leo was perfect to reintroduce her into the new and improved world. She was trying to change that’s for sure and the baby helped a lot, but I think she needed a man to realise not everyone is like her ex-fiance and Leo was perfect for the job, because he needed a little change too. He suffered a heart attack and discovered that life was more than just work.

Leo family was great, they were worried about him and forced to change, his brother managed the company and his family, so the only thing Leo needed to learn was to slow things and stop being such a workaholic. This time in Tennessee really helped him. The baby made him see things differently and even consider a family of his own in the future. This was a cute romance and my favorite kind.
