“How did it happen this time?”
Henry tensed at the sound of her voice, and he tore his eyes away from the lifeless body on the bed long enough to look at her. Diana stood in the doorway, his best friend, his confidante, his family in every way except by blood, but even her presence didn’t help rein in his temper.

A cute book so far, and is my TBRIC for the week, I tend to let it wait until the lest minute, lol. This one is The Goddess Test from Aimée Carter, first in Goddess Test series.

They were gathered around a conference table in a high-rise, eight men and women, no one under the age of sixty-five, all of them wealthy beyond measure. And they were here, in the middle of Manhattan, to decide my fate.

A paranormal book, like most off my TBR pile, and this one I’ve been putting off for a while but TBR Intervention make me read it, and also goes for the Wonderfully Wicked Read-a-Thon.

This one is Firespell from Chloe Neill, first in Dark Elite series.

A single daisy bloomed between the curb and the sidewalk, its cheerful yellow-and-white head bobbing in the Gulf breeze. Hiking up her bridal gown’s skirt, Lucinda Darling stomped on the flower with her white satin stiletto.

“He loves me not, he loves me not, he loves me not.” She ground the flower farther into the dirt with each love me not.

The front door of the church flew open. Organ music drifted out, a prelude to the wedding march. Donald Kimball, hair disheveled, tux jacket and shirt unbuttoned, his shirttail hanging out, stood on the top step. “Lucinda, listen!”

“No! You listen to me. Come one step closer, and your head’s going the way of this daisy.”

“Donald?” Rebecca Hirsch stepped out into the sunshine. “You said—”

    “Go back inside,” he growled.

    “But—”

“And while you’re in there, you might want to fix your dress.” Lucinda narrowed her eyes. “It’s inside-out.”

A romantic book, love this kind, just received this one from netgalley, and already attacked, I’ll tell you guys more after I finish.
If you wanna know more this is Just a little white lie from Lynnette Hallberg

Statistics show that most mortals sell their souls for five reasons: sex, money, power, revenge, and love.  In that order.
I suppose I should have been reassured, then, that I was out here assisting with numero uno, but the whole situation just made me feel…well, sleazy.  And coming from me, that was something.
Maybe I just can’t empathize anymore, I mused.  It’s been too long.  When I was a virgin, people still believed swans could impregnate girls.

Another series, yey. But seriasly this one was on my wishlist for a while but this time I picked for another reason. I joined a book club, and this is the monthly pick. I fits so well why everything that I used to read. If you wanna join too, the button, is:

Moscow can be a cold, hard place in winter. But the big old house on Tverskoy Boulevard had always seemed immune to these particular facts, the way that it had seemed immune to many things throughout the years.

The series of the week is Heist Society, but so far on two books released and I’m already on the second.

The lines are from book two on this series, called Uncommom Criminals by Ally Carter

    This Week’s Question:

“As a blog reader, what information (besides the book review) do you like to see in other bloggers’ reviews of books? (For example – Author bio, social media links, book synopsis from Amazon/Goodreads or one written by the blogger, page count, ISBN number, link to purchase, etc.)”

    My Answer:

I love to see a link to Goodreads and maybe even a link to others reviews in the blogosphere. On Goodreads I usually visit the author page and take a look for others books, book trailer and such things like that.

    See ya next post!

When death comes for you, it will not be gentle.

Logan hadn’t truly understood Sibyl’s prophecy of his death until this moment. But now that he was staring into its jaws, he realized what she had meant.

My series of passion for the moment: Sentinels. I’m on the last book released.
The lines are from book five on this series, called Blood Hunt by Shannon K. Butcher.
