This was a great story, but I had a hard time accepting Vladimir as a good guy, so I expected a few bad things to happen to him. At first when he let her win to save her sister, I thought he was a good guy with some wounded pride, but after I realized he jus wanted to own her and get a bit of revenge, but he’s so successful and ruthless with business that I thought he could at least hire a detective to investigate her life after he left her ten years ago.
During the story we discover that Vladimir met Bree  when she was just a girl and a con artist because of her father, but since he died she had to do whatever it takes to save her sister and raise her. So she was alone and doing the only thing she knew, but things changed and now the only thing Bree does is work. I really liked Bree and she was so turned about what to do with her life after realizing that Vladimir was no more than a strange.
I liked how this couple found a middle ground, but they need to learn to handle the problems better. It was a bit strange seeing how the almost made the same mistakes again just because they couldn’t talk with each other.
