Why I Started This Book:
I’ve read a good number of Maya Banks books, mostly more adult romances, and when I discovered that she had started as romance author couldn’t wait to read it. I’ve finished this trilogy already and if you like her as much as I do you won’t be disapointed.
Summary:

She hadn’t known she’d slept with the boss. But the next morning Jewel Henley learned the exotic stranger who’d swept her off her feet was her new employer, Piers Anetakis. And before she could explain, Jewel found herself without a job…and pregnant.

After five months Piers had finally tracked down his one-night lover. Determined to explain the mistakes that had been made, he was confronted with an undeniable truth. Jewel was carrying his child. His Greek honor demanded they marry. Yet was there more between them than lust…and was it enough to make their marriage of convenience last?

Characters:

  • Chrysander Anetakis
  •  Marley Jameson
  • Theron Anetakis
  • Piers Anetakis
  • Jewel Henley

My Thoughts:

As much as I liked Theron story, I just couldn’t quite enjoy this one that much. I know it seems quite obvious from the first book that Piers had some trouble with woman in the past taking in consideration how he reacted when first heard about Marley and Bella, so this book was mostly to explain that story and make him see that not every woman was like that one who broke his heart.

I actually fealt sorry for Jewel, especially when her friend explained how much she has suffered in the past and after that even had to make Piers understand who he really fealt for her, dispise everything was a little too much for Jewel, at least that’s my opinion.

She is a beautiful woman with a kindy heart, who loved and helped everyone in need. Piers just had to see and start to enjoy having her by his side.

They suffered together but in the end finally managed to understand why the other fealt so heartbroken over the past. I loved the fact that his brothers continued to participate in this book as well. I fell better knowing that good characters are not left behind, and well used.

I’ve read a good number of Maya Banks books, mostly more adult romances, and when I discovered that she had started as romance author couldn’t wait to read it. I’ve finished this trilogy already and if you like her as much as I do you won’t be disapointed.

Summary:

Tycoon Theron Anetakis had only one problem–and she just walked through his door. With his business takeover complete, he’d intended to arrange a marriage for himself to further secure his future. However…

Little Isabella Caplan had blossomed into a voluptuous vixen with plans of her own, and they didn’t include letting the executor of her father’s estate also arrange a marriage for her to another man! She had pined for Theron long enough. Now it was time to seduce her hotblooded hotel tycoon and bring him to one bended knee.

Characters:

  • Chrysander Anetakis
  •  Marley Jameson
  • Theron Anetakis
  • Isabella Caplan
  • Piers Anetakis

My Thoughts:

I have to say that after the way Theron acted in the end of the first book with Marley, I so wanted to see him wipped. He show a lot of care for Marley and her baby. So when I discovered on this book that he was chosing a contract marriage, I was disapointed cause I wanted to see more of that caring man who would do anything for his family.

So another twist, and Isabella arrives. I didn’t like her in the begging, she was very childlist and Theron diserved a more mature woman. Bella was only 22 and very much in love with him for a long time, I chose to ignore how I feel about her infantuacion and started to cheer for Theron to chose wiselly.

Bella continuous all the book using her body, and some passion to make Theron see reality and with who the future would be less dull.

Theron suffered to discover a way to give in to his passion and continuous with secutiry on his life, especially since Bella was his protege, not that she needed anyone to do that.

You Might Enjoy This Book If:

You like a good romance, to shed a tear now and again, and a happy ending.

Favorite Quotes:

I want him to burn for me, to not be able to go a day without touching me, holding me, caressing me. He’ll be an excellent lover. I want a man who knows how to please me,

Summary:

Greek hotel magnate Chrysander Anetakis’s former mistress was pregnant? And had amnesia? That meant Marley Jameson didn’t remember betraying him by selling company secrets. Or that he’d thrown her out of his life. So he told her a little white lie: they were engaged. Then he swept her away to his Greek island to await the birth of his baby and enjoy her sudden devotion…before tossing her out.

But he didn’t count on Marley regaining her memory so soon.

Characters:

  • Chrysander Anetakis
  •  Marley Jameson
  • Theron Anetakis
  • Piers Anetakis

My Thoughts:

The truth about this: there’s no secret how this book is going to end. Usually at the first page I chose a character to ruth for, in this one was Marley, maybe because she couldn’t remember anything or maybe because I think Chrysander must be really stupid.

I meen, come on, the evidence was planted and everyone could see it, but I give him credit, he did apologize and became the greek god that every girl dreams off.

Marley was pregnant when they separeted, and Chrysander didn’t hear anything from her, strange right, and make me thing her didn’t really love her, he forget about her on the same day, so when he hears her name on the TV he chose to ignore everything and run back to her and the baby he thinks belongs to him.

Is a good past time book, but not my favorite on this series.
