Summary:

In this Bolton Brothers book, first comes the baby and maybe then comes marriage?

He’d never expected to see Stella Caine again. After one wild night, she’d walked away right after revealing that her father was the one man who could threaten the biggest business deal of Bobby Bolton’s career. So Bobby left her alone.

Until now.

Now Stella is pregnant and staying in his condo. This is a complication that can be solved only one way: marriage. Bobby wants to do the right thing. Hell, he wants her–he has never stopped wanting her. Surely he can convince her to say yes, even without those three little words.

Review:

I think this is the last book in this series, but not my favorite because I was never a fan of Bobby and he sound like a giant ass during the first two, but now we got to see his reasons and why people think less of him. I have to say he was better than I expected and treated Stella like a lady even after she told him about the pregnancy. He acted like a true Bolton.

Stella was a difficult character for me because she’s cold and very suffered a lot in her childhood, but after all those years she can’t find her place and that for me was a strange think, considering how much she tried to escape her father tyranny. I wanted more bravery from her especially because she lived in another country and could live as she wished.

These two needed to deal with some trust issues first, but they made a cute couple. And we got to see more of those badass Bolton Brothers again.

Before she has a chance to get to know him better, an equally sexy prospect comes her way and this one is ready to play. Justin’s not shy about telling Stacy exactly what he wants. She plans to have her way with both him and Evan until she finds out they’re close friends. This could be awkward or this could be the most exhilarating experience of Stacy’s life. She decides to take the plunge by coming between friends–in more ways than one.

Review:

This was a novella, but I found it completely strange to end with a cliffhanger. Still don’t understand why they couldn’t just make a novel  with the entire story. There’s not a lot waiting to happen with these three. I liked Stacy and the way she took control of her love life and decided to change. But she’s too insecure to actually participate in a menage relationship with these tow guys, because for me Justin and Evan are a bit on the controlling side and this could become a bad situation way too fast.

I liked Nina and she was a great friend to Stacy, always helping her see the big picture and trying to put some different thoughts on the line, their conversations are nice and without judgment. I liked Nina and it would be nice to read a book with her finding love and a great guy.

The story was nice and the guys were a good thing, but Stacy needs to learn more about life and her positions. I think this time apart is going to help her a lot.

Review:

This year I fell in love with this series and this is a very special book because we can see all those character we met in the previous books and even more got to also create the amazing recipes that we listened so much about.

There’s also a romance in this book and it was fun to follow the creation of this cookbook and watch the two authors fall in love at the same time, both are successful and they have a little dispute going on, but it was nice seeing Ana again.

So this was a very short story, but the recipes have beautiful photos are they are divided in seasons, and that helps a lot during a quick search for the best ingredients.

Summary:

Can first love turn into the real deal in a sizzling new Fool’s Gold story from New York Times bestselling author Susan Mallery? Isabel Carlisle thinks she’s cursed in the romance department. Her teenage crush, Ford Hendrix, ignored all her letters. Her husband left her for another…man. So Isabel has come home to dust off her passion for fashion and run the family bridal shop until her parents are ready to sell it. Then she’ll pursue her real dreams. At least, that’s the plan, until sexy, charming Ford returns and leaves her feeling fourteen all over again….

Seeing Isabel all grown up hits bodyguard trainer Ford like a sucker punch. Back when heartbreak made him join the military, her sweet letters kept him sane. Now he can’t take his eyes-or his lips-off her. The man who gave up on love has a reason to stay in Fool’s Gold forever-if three little words can convince Isabel to do the same….

Review:

This was a two for one romance for me because we got to see two brothers finding their happily ever after and I really enjoyed watching those Hendrix boys with their matches.

I was hoping for a full book and to learn more of Kent story and his past, but we got so little of him in this story. I wanted more. His kid is a great teenager and after the big scape in the previous book he seams to be doing okay now.

But Ford was the leading character and I liked watching him and he was trying really hard. It’s not simple to live in Fool’s Gold without everyone knowing your secrets, but he was managing just fine, the only problem was his mother deciding to find a woman for him. Really?

But I liked the way he kept a very simple relationship with Isabel and he even remembers her, from before he enlisted. He was engaged to her sister, but we can clearly see they are better off separate and both are happier now.

Isabel is such a nice girl and she has a broken heart too, so spending this time in her family home is already stressful, but Ford actually helped her. These two are so cute together.

Summary:

Felicia Swift never dreamed she’d hear a deep, sexy voice from her past in tiny Fool’s Gold, California. The last time Gideon Boylan whispered in her ear was half a world away…on the morning after the hottest night of her life. Her freaky smarts have limited her close friendships, and romance, but she came to Fool’s Gold looking for ordinary. Gorgeous, brooding Gideon is anything but that.

Black Ops taught Gideon that love could be deadly. Now he pretends to fit in while keeping everyone at arm’s length. Felicia wants more than he can give-a home, family, love-but she has a lot to learn about men…and Gideon needs to be the man to teach her.

As these two misfits discover that passion isn’t the only thing they have in common, they just might figure out that two of a kind should never be split apart.

Review:

We met Felicia in the previous book and I got the feeling her happy ending was coming real soon, but didn’t expected that much drama. Gideon sounded like a wounded guy, and he definitely hiding in Fool’s Gold, but they have a past together and after one encounter we can clearly see they also have feelings too.

So it was nice watching these two decide to just enjoy the moment, because let’s face it that is not the best choice and Felicia is so smart to fall for that. Another surprise to us all was Carter. I don’t have anything against him, but he sounds more like Felicia than is necessary in this book.

Carter discovered that his adopted family was going to separate and he needed to find a new place to stay, so he decided to discover where his father is after all those years, detail the boy is only 13. Too young to now all these. But I liked how in the middle of all the drama we can see that he was good for this couple and united them.

I liked Felicia new job and it’s very important to the town, but she had a few difficult moments. Overall, this was one of the best books in this series.

Summary:

He won’t hesitate to put his life on the line…but will he ever risk his heart?
Falling for Justice Garrett was a high point in Patience McGraw’s otherwise awkward adolescence. Even after he disappeared, Patience never forgot the boy who captured her heart. Now, he’s back in Fool’s Gold, California, and her passion for him is as strong as ever. But how can she trust that he won’t abandon her again-and her daughter, too?

When bodyguard Justice Garrett was a young man, witness protection brought him to this idyllic town and he never forgot its warmth, or the sweet beauty of his childhood friend. He’s returned to open a defense academy, and the Patience he once knew is all grown up. He can’t resist her smile, or her curves. But Justice’s past doesn’t make him husband, or father, material.

Patience and Justice think they’ll succumb to just one kiss… Then one more… Okay, just one night together. But they might learn that falling in love is beyond anyone’s control.

Photobucket

Review:

I really liked Patience and her spirit, she suffered a lot in life and still manages to have dreams and hope. Plus she has a great daughter and a second chance with her best friend. Justice disappeared and it broke her heart, but now he’s back again and this time is for good, so these two totally deserved a fresh start.

I understood Justice reasons for staying away and her drama with a relationship all those years ago, but he could never forget that pretty girl and now she’s even better. So it was really hard for him to attempt to keep it casual.

I loved Patience family. Her mother got a second chance in love and after all the heartbreak her daughter can have a bigger family now. They are perfect together and Justice made a great decision in moving to Fool’s Gold.

I don’t want to spoil the news and those little things, but this was a happy book for me and a great addition to this series.

I’m completely in love with this series, and this book brought me to tears more times than I can count. There’s something so good and romantic in this series. The couples always have some issue to work on and this time it was a matter of life or death and I enjoyed getting to know more of Callie because in the previous books she was usually on the sideline. And this time the group of friends really showed of friendship means, because even in the hardest moments you could always see them helping and never giving up. I also liked getting to know more of Baxter. He’s a really nice guy and I’m hoping for some romance to come his way very soon. Fingers crossed.

Callie discovered that her liver is failing and now she’s little more than six months of life if she doesn’t get a transplant soon enough. So she decided to became an hermit and live on her grandparents farm, the thing she never told anyone about her health problems and the farm is completely isolated. There’s not a single soul living there and I thought foolish of her to just disappear when we can see she tons of best friends and her family loves her, but her reasons are good for me and she just wanted some moments without pity and fear.

Levi is a troubled soul and after his bike broke the only way to keep moving is to walk until the nearest shop, but a couple of rabid dogs attacked him and Callie was the angel that treated his bites. I liked him and understood his problems with a relationship and even with just staying, but he changed a lot and really helped Callie without asking for much. We can clearly see these two deserve a second change and the book portrayed such beautiful scenes.

This was a fun read and I liked the family meddling and even the romance, but the secrets for me was changing point. I never would accept Josh back after realizing he was responsible for months of stalker behavior. He is a reporter and for months now the only subject in his column is Tess career, so after he came clean it was a bit strange for me the way she just forgot things.

I liked Tess family, they are fun and very honest but didn’t liked the way they kept pushing things when all of them had something to lose especially Tess, it fell like a betrayal for me. Tess in the entire was this fun and cute girl who had no idea what to do in her kitchen, but she made things up and really new how to light up a room, but her life was a controlled mess and when Josh appeared things got a little out of hand.

I liked these two together, because Tess brought more life to Josh, he only think about career and we can clearly see that family is touchy subject, so this was nice. But Josh could have changed things earlier in the book for me.
