Review:

I was a little confused when this story started about who Chance was, but I loved him soon enought. Isabella was a refreshing girl and a very brave one too, she accepted a marriage to a mob boss just to save her brother. I didn’t liked the way her brother treated her when all she did was save his ass, but that’s another thing. Also was nice seeing Bones again, without Cat he’s different, more dangerous, but I like this side of him.

Chance showed how vampires can truly chose the way to life after life and he was charming and almost too good to be true. He treated Isabella like a princess and was all about saving her honor. I really liked this novella.

Summary:

What was once the western United States is now home to the Republic, a nation perpetually at war with its neighbors. Born into an elite family in one of the Republic’s wealthiest districts, fifteen-year-old June is a prodigy being groomed for success in the Republic’s highest military circles. Born into the slums, fifteen-year-old Day is the country’s most wanted criminal. But his motives may not be as malicious as they seem.

From very different worlds, June and Day have no reason to cross paths – until the day June’s brother, Metias, is murdered and Day becomes the prime suspect. Caught in the ultimate game of cat and mouse, Day is in a race for his family’s survival, while June seeks to avenge Metias’s death. But in a shocking turn of events, the two uncover the truth of what has really brought them together, and the sinister lengths their country will go to keep its secrets.

Full of nonstop action, suspense, and romance, this novel is sure to move readers as much as it thrills.

Review:

I don’t know why it took me this long to finale start this trilogy, but since the last book is already released I’m grateful to have them all, because it kinda ended in a cliff and I hate to wait for another book to get closure in a story. Day and June are from very different parts of town but from the very first moment in this book we can clearly see they are soul mates, more than anything because they are so much alike.

There’s a different side to this dystopia that caught my eye, since not all books from this genre I like the summary. But this one has a nice touch of investigation, a little military surprise and better than anything I love a good revolution and we can see that bubbling in the surface. I loved the action in this first book, because usually thee’s more introduction and less drama, but this series brought a nice pace and the plot has a different twist during this book for me. I did not expect some of those people to be so important in the events.

I liked Day and June together, they reminded me of Tris and Four, but a little different too. They are equals and share the same doubts and fears. Can’t wait to start the next books.

Summary:

In the shadows of the night in Caldwell, New York, there’s a deadly war raging between vampires and their slayers. And there exists a secret band of brothers like no other – six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Of these, Zsadist is the most terrifying member of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.

A former blood slave, the vampire Zsadist still bears the scars from a past filled with suffering and humiliation. Renowned for his unquenchable fury and sinister deeds, he is a savage feared by humans and vampires alike. Anger is his only companion, and terror is his only passion—until he rescues a beautiful aristocrat from the evil Lessening Society.

Bella is instantly entranced by the seething power Zsadist possesses. But even as their desire for one another begins to overtake them both, Zsadist’s thirst for vengeance against Bella’s tormentors drives him to the brink of madness. Now, Bella must help her lover overcome the wounds of his tortured past, and find a future with her…

Review:

When you start this series the first guy you actually hate is Zsadist, but in this book we get all the story about his past and his reasons to act impulsively. Phury is his twin brother and we can all see they are completely different, and I loved reading again this book because his story of falling in love was perfect. He’s like a kid and everything was new and dangerous. I loved how helpful Bella was with and even pushed things a little. Zsadist needed a change in his life and we can all see how happiness made him different, even his eye color changed.

Nobody in the brotherhood believed he could be different and I loved seeing this couple. They are just my favorite. The lessers are also getting more dangerous because suddenly Mr. O became forelesser and he’s clearly the best commander so far. We had some dark and very sad moments in this book too. Tohr was like the perfect guy and we can see the hit really damaged him. John is growing more into the great guy we all know and love. The classes started and Lash is already an ass. But for me this book was all about the romance.

Summary:

Finance genius Meredith Klaus prefers numbers to people, especially around the holidays. At least the large sum of money that’s mysteriously vanished from the company accounts will distract her from the ghosts of Christmases past. Until her sexy boss asks her to be his last-minute date to a fundraiser gala, that is, and the promise of a special evening calls to something long-buried in her.

Andrew Stanton, Manhattan’s best-known philanthropist, has worked hard building his reputation in the industry. He offers to work closely with Meredith to fix his company’s financial crisis, but the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to look at her as just a colleague.

A beautiful dress. A handsome man on her arm. A challenge she can’t refuse. Can they find the missing money and fulfill their holiday wishes, or will Meredith be unable to overcome the demons of her past and lose her chance at happiness?

Review:

I’m loving these Entangled novellas and now they launched a new line with only fast and sweet romances. This was my first read and I loved meeting Meredith and Andrew. They are completely different people and work together, but we can clearly see that there’s more between those two than just working space. This was such a sad story, but they made it work really well. Meredith needed to let a little and enjoy life, so Andrew was perfect to introduce her into this new world and he was very understand about her pace.

Summary:

Human sexuality professor Cricket Malloy typically likes bad boys, but when buttoned-up science teacher Tucker Lamb needs help with an experiment on aphrodisiacs, she goes the extra mile to help him out. After all, what could go wrong? He’s totally harmless…

Tucker Lamb was born into a life of a grifter. He used to pride himself on his fast fingers and quicksilver tongue, but ever since being placed in the witness protection program, he’s been on the up and up. Still, something about Cricket Malloy makes him ache to see if his tongue is as fast as it used to be.

Photobucket

Review:

This was a HOT, HOT, HOT! For the number of pages I can clearly say this one burned my kindle. Cricket was a super fun girl and the best part, she’s not afraid of sharing a great night with someone. I really liked the way these two acted as grown up and decided their sexual life without embarrassment and drama, plus their test made everything more fun. Tucker for me started a little slow, but he grew in this book and there’s another story that was a bit excessive for me and strange, so the reason for the 4 stars.

When lawyer, Julia Blair, finds herself on a dude ranch half way across the country, only to discover the invitation was meant for her vivacious twin sister, she knows she has two choices—go home alone or walk a day in her sister’s shoes. When she sets eyes on sexy cowboy Chase Cooper, the choice becomes easy. She’s determined to stay and have some carefree fun while at the ranch.

Coop can’t believe the mix up, but when he discovers Julia wants to play, then play they will. When things get steamy and playtime becomes so much more, he’s determined to prove she’s the girl for him. And he’s not above using a few tricks of the trade to get his point across…

Review:

This cover is extra hot so you have the right imagine of this book. It’s a tiny story and leaves a good plot for a series, this is my first Cathryn Fox novella, so I didn’t knew at first what to expect but I loved Coop! Julia took some time to warm up on me, but Coop was perfect. The romance was nice and they were already halfway in love so things jumped fast into the happily ever after land. Coop and Julia made a cute couple and now I want to see the rest of the gang, especially Jag.

Summary:

When a fellow RN jokingly predicts that Beth Roberts will meet a tall, ripped and totally lick-o-licious stranger who will fulfill her deepest desires, it’s supposed to be from across a crowded room, not giving CPR to a wedding guest. Given her tragic love life, Beth has no desire to become involved again, but who could have predicted the ponytailed doctor with the mischievous smile would break through her defenses?

Dr. Gabriel North blamed himself for his wife’s death. Now, after two years of battling guilt and meaningless hookups, he’s ready to move on. When he sees the sexy brunette at his friend’s wedding, his attraction is swift and strong, and he wastes no time in pressing his advantage. One night with the woman who makes him feel alive again isn’t enough, but gaining her trust as a man was going to take more than medical school had prepared him for.

Photobucket

Review:

This was a different story and more dramatic than the others, but I really liked seeing this couple getting a fresh start and enjoying life again. Beth is brave because after everything that happened from her previous marriage is such a dangerous thing to just pick a guy for a one night stand, but she did and I was super happy for her, Gabe was the perfect match and these two needed help getting past something dark from their past.

The sex was extra hot and I have no idea how they managed not to break the bed, but these two made a great couple. They had fun together and even managed to overcome some dramatic events from their past. I don’t know if in real life I would believe in those changes so fast, but in the book things sounded so nice.

Summary:

SHE’LL MAKE HIM A BET… Lily McIntire is sick of losing every office wager to her overly cocky—and yeah, devilishly handsome—coworker, Marcus Black. After a few too many tequila shots, and a taunt from Marcus that she’s a wuss, Lily lays down a bet he can’t refuse: One night in the abandoned and spooky Willow Mansion alone for his recent office win, a trip to Hawaii.

HE CAN’T REFUSE… There’s only one thing Marcus wants more than his upcoming vacation to Hawaii; it’s to take his sexy coworker on a real date. Every time he’s tried to get close to Lily, she’s shut him down cold. Too bad the sexual tension has hit the boiling point. Now, he’ll have to scare her out of the mansion if he has a prayer of taking her out any time soon.

UNTIL ALL BETS ARE OFF… But in between trying to scare Lily out of her pants and get his hands into them, Marcus realizes there’s more to the mansion than either of them counted on. Suddenly, it’s not just he and Lily that are going “bump in the night”.  If they manage to survive the night and escape the mansion unscathed, can they survive each other in the light of day? Or will what happens at Willow Mansion stay at Willow Mansion?

Photobucket

Review:

I liked this plot, a dare is always such a fun story, but this novella bring the sweet and hot together, because Marcus is such a nice guy, but at the same time he has a crush in Lily for a long time, the only problem is his fame of a womanizer and she wants more from a guy, especially since he works with her. I agree is dangerous for these two to start a relationship, but that night in the creepy house made them realise things could be different between them.

I really liked this story and the fun part for me was the epilogue. A chance to see the future is always nice.
