This is my first book in this series, but I didn’t felt lost and it can be read as a simply holiday novella without any problem, because the story is focused on Lila and Spencer love story and holiday affair.
These two have met before but neither thought they would actually see each other again, especially since Spencer lied and told her a different name, his brother name, so it was a very fun misunderstanding in the first chapter and them we have Spencer kinda groveling for Lila’s attention and forgiveness.
It was a fun and sweet story.

Again, I missed the other stories in this series, but it was a fun and very hot novella. I liked Tori trying to work with three hot males and pretending to not being acted. Ha, as if! It was fun to see that friends can jump to a relationship without all the crazy thinking.
But it was even better to see Brody struggling with his feelings and what he was supposed to do. Since he doesn’t do relationships it was really nice watching him change for the perfect women.
Ask Her at Christmas by Christi Barth
Caitlin McIntyre’s heart stops when her best friend drops to one knee and proposes. Kyle Lockhart never once hinted over the years that he has any idea she’s in love with him. I actually love a romance when friends discover they were perfect together and live HEA. So this story made everything really perfect for the holidays, the settings with Christmas tree and skiing on Chicago.
Kyle is a geek and not very good at feelings and what is right in front of him, but I understand Caitlin better because she’s afraid of what will became of their friendship if he doesn’t love her as she loves him.
It was fun to see Kyle’s almost fiancé trying to break them apart and how this actually helped with moving them together.
