Why I Started This Book:

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Summary:

When four female angels were created for the archangels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel and Azrael, a chaos spurned by jealousy erupted, and the archesses were secreted to Earth. The four favored archangels followed, prompting a search that has last millennia. But for Uriel, the former Archangel of vengeance, the search ends the moment he lays eyes on Eleanor Granger, his one true arches. Can he protect her from the danger lying in wait for her-and win her heart?

Characters:

  • Eleanor Granger
  • Archangel Uriel

My Thoughts:

I had this book on my wishlist for a while and when discovered that NetGalley had an ARC off it, you call tell now the hapiness alround here. It amazing but angels books are not really my favorite to begin with, I usually find that the stories are really lame or it misses some more details than the rest, but this one took my breath away and keep me reading all night long.

First thing that I loved where the characters, and their discriptions, we can really have a good vibe cause we know so much about them. The author gave us a deep knowledge about the archangels lifes on earth and how the keep trying to protect the humans from dangerous andd themselves.

The loved the archangels, but the one that I less liked was Uriel and his the principal character for this book. I feel so bad for Azrael and how much he suffered when first caming to Earth. They’re all so good that I can understand The Old One feeling like they deserve some good afterwards. Sammael deserves some good girl at the too, cause is not his fault he was replaced! And he’s such a good bad guy, lol.

Okay back to the love birds. Eleanor is superwoman, she has some powers and put her at risk especially since she cure people, and some bad guys are following her since her childhood, so when first descovering Uriel is after her because she’s different, things get a little complicated. But Uriel is a nice guy and he suffered is this book, so in the end they found love.

I recommend this book for everyone who loves angels, someone who’s trying to escape the zumbys and vampires around. It’s really sweet and with a lot of action too, the perfect mix.
