Review:

I was disapointed with this book because Stella and Marshal were not likable to me and everything they did rubbed me wrong. She had trouble understanding his difficulties after years serving his country, but he lost his memory and has no idea who she is.

Another problem for me was the rush to the wedding when he was just now getting his life back together and trying really hard to connect the dots in his glimpses of the past. I don’t think this was the right time for start a new life together. I understand they were planning and loved each other before, but a little time waiting wouldn’t hurt anyone. Stella seemed lost in everything and didn’t help.

So this book was not for me.

Summary:

When Presley Christensen returns to Whiskey Creek with her little boy after two years away, she has completely changed her life. She’s made peace with her past and overcome the negative behavior that resulted from her difficult childhood. Now she’s back in the small town that was the closest thing to home she ever knew;the town where she can be with the sister who’s her only family.

There’s just one catch. Aaron Amos still lives in Whiskey Creek, at least until he moves to Placerville to open a branch of the Amos brothers’ auto body shop. And no matter how hard she’s tried, Presley hasn’t been able to get over him. Seeing him again makes the longing so much worse. But she hopes she can get through the next few months, because she can’t fall back into his arms;or his bed. She’s come too far to backslide now. And there’s a secret she’s been guarding;a secret she’ll do anything to protect.

Review:

This story was not what I expected. This series always makes me cry in a good way, but in this book I couldn’t connect with anyone and that left me a little unsatisfied. With also got way to much side story, and that has never happened before. I was not happy with the way Cheyenne handled her problems and it felt like a betrayal to me. I loved her book and it was not necessary to me the way she acted.

The real story was more of the same with Presley still in love and now she decided to move back home, so her sister can help her. The problem is super simple, Aaron the father of her baby is still in town and of course it didn’t take a genius to see the huge disaster ahead.

I liked this couple, but didn’t the way the author chose to simply forget about their problems with drugs, Presley we can see suffered a lot to get back on her feet and start over, but not in one moment is mentioned what Aaron did, when in the previous books we can see he was worst them her with addictions. I wanted to know more about the way they changed in this past two years. but that’s only me.

Photobucket

Review:

I had a hard time with the story, especially the finale, so the rating was really difficult to me. I liked the build up and the couple, only a few actions made things awkward to me. I was well aware this was an erotica, but the girl is in love with one guy and their sex is amazing, but out of nowhere his brother shows up and thins became a little complicated.

For me the big issue was Jessica no knowing what brother to date, it was clear the reality and their emotions, so she a little unstable to me, because of that. I liked seeing Dane and Jessica together, but Storm to me was not a good guy and deserved to disappear for the drama he caused.

Summary:

What happens when a pretend boyfriend wants more than make-believe? Find out in this Westmoreland novel from New York Times bestselling author Brenda Jackson!

No red-blooded man turns down the chance to escort gorgeous Trinity Matthews—and Adrian Westmoreland is definitely red-blooded. For her, he’ll pretend to be her man. But keeping his hands to himself? That is impossible. A Westmoreland always keeps his word, but how long before Adrian turns this fake affair into something real?

Photobucket

Review:

These Westmoreland cowboys are extra hot material and make all girls swoon, but in reality Adrian is an executive and have nothing to do with the guy on the cover. That made no difference for me because I love those Westmoreland’s. I was a little lost with his connection in the family and I think a guy with the names and marriages would be extra helpfull since this series is a long one.

But the couple was nice together and I loved watching Adrian comes to the rescue. He is a nice guy, but Trinity needed something more than just a pretend relationship and we can see that Adrian is falling for her really fast. She wants to be independnte and didn’t helped.

I liked the book, but the story was more of the same, nothing too extraordinary. I like the way Brenda introduces the new guys on this family and I love a family series.

Photobucket

Review:

I had one problem with book, the story is a spin-off from a previous series of the same author, but in several moments some moments of the past were quoted and it got me a little confused. It felt strange for me to read a follow-up, without knowing there was something previous affecting the way Jala think and act.

I liked the couple and thought it was super cute to follow them reconnect. Mohab was a nice guy and an extra hot special ops kinda guy, but now he just became a king and needs to marry Jala, because he loves her. See he’s cute, but Jala needed a little push in the right direction, and her brother did that so well.

They had a rough path, but we can see that in reality there’s more chemistry between them than ever, they just need to find some time to discuss feelings.

Review:

I decided to read this novella closer to the release of the first book, because if I liked the waiting would be smaller. But this couple was cute and they made a great adventure together. I liked knowing more about Dez and even some of the stories behind this world.

For me the best part was that Justine and Dez knew each other for years, so in reality they were half in love before the mating. Dez needed to share more about his disappearing act, but their time together was really nice.

This was just a prequel but I really liked the way some of the information was shared. This is a completely different story and I loved the gargoyles, they are fun and very normal, after this first glimpse of the new world, I have to say Jennifer caught me again.

Gathering his courage, he devises a plan to win his bride all over again, and together they seek out a kingdom to treasure above all.

Review:

This is novella is actually part of another series, but you can read without a problem that I understood everything so nothing was lost. After reading this novella I decided to start the other series, like I don’t have enough in my plate, but I found Nathaniel so cute, he made the story for me, his fight for a change and the way he treats Susanna was too sweet. Susanna had to change a lot after accepting Nathaniel wedding proposal, especially since his a King.

But I loved the way her family decided to help, but not impose and how Nathaniel family was there for him. This couple just needed a remember of how they are and their moments together made it so perfect. I loved that Susanna decided to think first about making a huge decision she was uncertain. Loved their families and this couple was too cute to be true.

Summary:

I’ve battled the Reapers of Chaos before–and survived. But this time I have a Bad, Bad Feeling it’s going to be a fight to the death … most likely mine.

Yeah, I’ve got my psychometry magic, my talking sword, Vic–and even the most dangerous Spartan on campus at my side, in Logan freaking Quinn, but I’m no match for Loki, the evil Norse god of chaos. I may be Nike’s Champion, but at heart, I’m still just Gwen Frost, that weird Gypsy girl everyone at school loves to gossip about.

Then someone I love is put in more danger than ever before, and something inside me snaps. This time, Loki and his Reapers are going down for good … or I am.

Photobucket

Review:

This is the last book in this series and I’m sad to say goodbye to Gwen and her adventures as Nike Champion. After all the dangerous situations and the drama around her personal life we can see that Gwen has grown a lot and found some way to survive and try to save the world. She’s the only one with the power to kill Loki and make sure he doesn’t destroy the world, but she has no idea how to do it, sure she has friends willing to help and the artifacts other Gods created that could help in the battle.

I loved this story, it’s full of action and Gwen of course had to save the world. I liked this last book and the final battle. Vivian was such a terrible girl and after all the talking she demonstrated that in the end Loki chose the right person to lead his army. I loved the characters and how we got caught up in the battle. Metis and Nickamedis helped a lot. But Logan was perfect in this book, we saw these two growing apart but now in the times of danger, he always comes to the rescue. Loved the story and I’m not saying spoilers, so this review will be short.

Now Jessica is in deep hot chocolate… because her Valentine Fantasy is starting to look a lot like a red-hot reality!

Review:

This was a super hot little novella and I can say this month Cosmo really hit the jackpot because I loved their selection and this time was no different. These romances are sweet and fun, full of flirt moments, but the best part for me are they smexy scenes.

Sam was such a nice guy and he treated Jessica like a princess, loved to see the way Jessica let go and enjoyed a very nice evening of hot sex, fulfilling that way her new year promise. Sam was super romantic and I loved they way this book brought to us both of their POV, so we could see what was going on after they went separate ways.

Loved their e-mails, super fun to see Jessica letting go and Morgan was a great friend to her, helping and making worst too.

Summary:

Once Upon a Prince, the first novel in the Royal Wedding series by bestselling author Rachel Hauck, treats you to a modern-day fairy tale.

Susanna Truitt never dreamed of a great romance or being treated like a princess—just to marry the man she has loved for twelve years. But life isn’t going according to plan. When her high-school-sweetheart-turned-Marine-officer breaks up instead of proposing, Susanna scrambles to rebuild her life.

The last thing Prince Nathaniel expects to find on his American holiday to St. Simon’s Island is the queen of his heart. A prince has duties, and his family’s tense political situation has chosen his bride for him. When Prince Nathaniel comes to Susanna’s aid under the fabled Lover’s Oak, he is blindsided by love.

Their lives are worlds apart. He’s a royal prince. She’s a ordinary girl. But everything changes when Susanna receives an invitation to Nathaniel’s coronation.

It’s the ultimate choice. His kingdom or her heart? God’s will or their own?

Photobucket

Review:

I decided to request this book after reading the novella that follows this story. I had no trouble following the novella and found this couple super sweet. This is a regular romance at first, but when Susanna discovers that Nate is actually prince Nathaniel things changed very fast.

I liked the pacing in this book and found their insecurities really normal, but Nate had to make some choices after his father died and the romance was left behind, but destiny brought these two together and it’s clear for everyone that love is a bigger part of the equation.
