I received this book from NetGalley and Harlequin in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Summary:

Wanted: Adventurous, open-minded man willing to try…anything…

As a popular sex blogger, Beatriz gets paid to have orgasms. So being on deadline the week of her sister’s wedding isn’t as rough as it sounds. There’s just one hitch: Bea’s assignment is to write a review of a sex position manual, but she doesn’t have a plus-one to play with.

The good news: Ben, the one who got away back in college, is also attending stag—and he’s as temptingly gorgeous as ever.

The bad news: Ben turned down Bea’s offer of graduation-night sex five years ago.

The best news: He’s not planning on making the same mistake twice….

Review:

This author became one of my favorite erotica creators and the moment I caught her name in this book on NetGalley, let’s jut say Harlequin made my day. This is a short story and there are lots of sex but we can also understand the feelings and emotions. Bea is very successful and her work is a little taboo, but she make it her life and has no fear, she’s a great woman and the way she handled her body made me jealous. I liked Ben too, but we can see clearly that Bea was in charge this week. She needed a partner to review a book, a sex guide and Ben was the one that got away during college, but these two has great chemistry together and they burned the sheets in the first day only.

I liked the reasons they never got together, Bea is very protective of her family and friends, Ben saved the day and I have to say Bea editor is a bad person. Loved the story and this soft erotica novella.

Erotica Review: The Mistress by Tiffany Reisz

The Mistress (The Original Sinners, #4)

The final book in The Original Sinners Series – The Red Years.
There’s punishment-and then there’s vengeance.
Nora Sutherlin is being held, bound and naked. Under different circumstances, she would enjoy the situation immensely, but her captor isn’t interested in play. Or pity.
As the reality of her impending peril unfolds, Nora becomes Scheherazade, buying each hour of her life with stories-sensual tales of Søren, Kingsley and Wesley, each of whom has tempted and tested and tortured her in his own way. This, Nora realizes, is her life: nothing so simple, so vanilla, as a mere love triangle for her. It’s a knot in a silken cord, a tangled mass of longings of the body and the heart and the mind. And it may unravel at any moment.
But in Nora’s world, no one is ever truly powerless-a cadre of her friends, protectors and lovers stands ready to do anything to save her, even when the only certainty seems to be sacrifice and heartbreak….

Advice:

Due to its strong sexual content, this novel is recommended for readers older than 18.

OMG you have no idea how much I missed Nora and her dirty mouth. The thing is I read the first three full novels in a roll and even hunted the novellas afterwards, so I had nothing but waiting until this final book release date. And The Prince ended in a cliffhanger so my mind was going crazy with all those ideas and turns this book could deliver. But the reality was even better.

You can ask me why, but the answer would be way to big, so without spoilers my review is only about the awesomess of this installment. We have Nora remembering some of her hot nights and even better, we can finally understand the real relationship between Soren and Kingsley. Think that’s enough? Remember Wesley? So he got some happiness too. I’m not saying how or with who, but I got the idea of his future really fast.

The best addition to this series was Grace Easton. We’ve only heard about her, but this time se actually shows and I liked her attitude and impulsiveness. Plus she’s a really smart woman and she helped a lot after Nora was kidnapped. I was so happy seeing all those favorite characters again and this book brought some closure to a few points. So now we only have to wait for the new series.

Review: The Prince by Tiffany Reisz

The Prince (The Original Sinner, #3)

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer…preferably in bed. That’s always been Kingsley Edge’s strategy with his associate, the notorious New York dominatrix Nora Sutherlin. But with Nora away in Kentucky, now it’s Kingsley’s chance to take her place at the feet of the only man he’s ever wanted — Søren, Nora’s on-again, off-again lover — until a new threat from an old enemy forces him to confront his past.

Wes Railey is still the object of Nora’s tamest yet most maddening fantasies, and the one man she can’t forget. He’s young. He’s wonderful. He’s also thoroughbred royalty and she’s in "his" world now. But Nora is no simpering Southern belle, and her dream of fitting into Wesley’s world is perpetually at odds with her dear Søren’s relentlessly seductive pull.

Two worlds of wealth and passion call to her and whichever one Nora chooses, it will be the hardest decision she will ever have to make… unless someone makes it for her…

This series is getting better and better and those endings are way to unexpected. After the way The Siren ended I had an idea of what Nora’s life would be, but *bang* and now I’m completely of track along with Nora.

But this time I’m a bit happy, because she’s with Wes and he’s so loveable and sweet, plus he lied to be with her and she didn’t even knew, that was really awesome. I loved the ending for Michael and Griffin, and now I can’t wait to see what Michael and Nora’s life could be together.

But things are a bit difficult for Kingsley and Soren, because someone is destroying everything connected with Soren’s past and I have my ideas of who might be responsible, but it was way to interesting to see Kingsley past and how he became this underground lord, after what happened with his family.

I don’t know if it was the fact Nora was having vanilla sex for most of the book, but this one was not that perfect as The Angel.

Review: The Angel by Tiffany Reisz

The Angel (The Original Sinners, #2)

She wanted him…
Nora Sutherlin is in hiding. On paper, she’s following her master’s orders – and her flesh is willing.
More deeply, more strongly than she’d wanted anyone
But her mind is wandering to a man from her past, whose hold on her heart is less bruising, but whose absence is no less painful. Instead of letting him make love to her, she’d let him go.
This is the story of a summer that proves that love hurts.

So we discovered at the end of The Siren that Nora returned to Soren and I was not happy with how things ended and wanted Nora to chose a different path, but at the same time it was really interesting to see her and Soren together once again.

This book was different than what I expected because I honestly thought Soren would want her 24/7 by his side, but a reporter showed up and decided to investigate Soren’s life after he was considerate to became a bishop.

So Soren did the right thing and send Nora away, but she wasn’t alone and Michael, he showed up on last book losing his virginity, is now her protégé. She’s supposed to teach him everything about how to be a submissive while living with Griffin.

This book was more sexual for me than the first and there’s nothing wrong with that, we have a more sensitive view of Nora’s life and how BDSM is really important to her, plus I enjoyed her moments of teaching.

The reporter also had some very important appearances during this book and we got to know more about Soren’s life before he became a priest and why he uses BDSM as a relieve.

Kingsley is so sexy and that accent is to die for, but Charlotte was actually really nice and I enjoyed how much she decided to surrender and discover her sensuality. It was a very spicy and hot little story and we got to know a bit more about dear King, but not all.
I had my guesses about this friend of his and it was quite nice to see Soren and Nora before the breakup, even if just for a second. We can clearly see that they are in love and everyone is aware of that.
But back to Kingsley, his methods of torture were actually really fun to see, because he enjoys what he does and that makes it even more real.

This book has been getting a lot of good press lately and when I discovered the other two in this series were on NetGalley I decided to read them all. I love a good erotica and even better is when there’s a sequel already released, because waiting is so bad for me.

So in this one we finally she Nora in her normal life after dumping Soren and almost giving up her life as a dominatrix, it’s very interesting the fact she wants to write erotica and at the same time she wants Zach to be her editor, because he’s the best on the job.

I liked the book and Nora personality, she takes everything she wants and literally just live her life without affect of what other people might think. I liked her and how brave she is to just walk away from a  ten year long relationship, even thought she’s still in love with Soren.

But the book is so much more than just a BDSM life, it shows true feelings and how much Nora can handle in her life. She’s still suffering and still loves Soren, but she has a intern and he lives with her, he’s sweet and a virgin, and I think she deeply loves him, but don’t know what to do with her vanilla feelings.

Of course she also tried to seduce Zach and it’s really sexy to watch these two going at it. I deeply enjoyed this book and jumped right into the sequel.

Photobucket This was a interesting short story because I could enjoy the plot and be a little sad at the end. I understood the reason for the “Loan” and was really happy to see Nora being topped by a different person, other than King.

It’s interesting to see that Soren own Nora, but also likes to share her and in this story we got to see her with another Dominant, since Soren decided his old friend needed a little incentive to leave his house.

I loved the spicy scenes and was really amused on the fisting, because this is definitely my first read of this. I love how Tiffany brings erotica to life without killing a story by adding some BDSM scene. Bravo!

Mistress Nora needs a vacation. She might be the one flogging the clients, but Kingsley, her sexy French boss, is the real sadist who rarely gives her a day off. They strike a backseat deal: Nora gets one month off and a trip to Europe if she can sneak into a rival BDSM club and get the dirt on the owner. But she’ll need more than her little red riding crop when she comes face to face with Brad Wolfe, the one man who stands between her and freedom.

My first time with Nora and Kingsley. I liked the relationship between these two and the best part is the fact we get to see how witty Nora is. I loved the conversation and the little snippets we got from Nora’s life.

I loved the fact she doesn’t take bull from others and enjoy her life to it’s fullest. This little night of pleasure takes place two years before the Siren. So we get to see Nora doing her best. And she’s only hoping for a vacation. What a girl must do to get a little time off.
