Determined to find the human traffickers preying on Shadowlands’ submissives, Master Raoul gets himself invited to a small slave auction. Once informed, the FBI orders him to reject the limited choices so the slavers will invite him to the big auction. To Raoul’s shock, one of the slaves is the kidnapped friend of a Shadowlands sub. She has a scarred body…and an unbroken spirit. He can’t leave her behind. Ruining the FBI’s carefully laid plans, he buys her.

Kimberly’s freedom has come at a devastating price: the other women are still slaves. An FBI raid is their only hope for rescue. Desperate to help the Feds locate the big auction, she agrees to pose as Master Raoul’s slave. Wearing a collar again is terrifying, but under the powerful dominant’s care, Kim starts to heal and then to blossom. This is what she’s been drawn to—and fled from—her entire life.

She escaped the slavers who captured her body—can she escape the master who’s captured her heart?

This story was like part two of Make Me, Sir because we can see what happens with the FBI operation and how one of the slaves handles the real world after her release.

I liked Master Raoul and how he tried to help Kimberly since he first saw her, and not just because she’s friends with Gabrielle. He really cares about her and after he bought her and discovers that he needs to live and act as her Dom for more time is really tormenting to him.

I liked the book and the story was really interesting. We can see the FBI breaking a slaves organization and also how one of the girls who fought for her life is learning how to live again.

One thing I did not enjoy was the rejection at the end and how Master Raoul thought he knew better and tried to push Kimberly away because he was afraid of his feelings and how she was coping.

Her job is to make his life miserable. His job is to make her submit. Whose heart will surrender first?

Across the country, rebellious BDSM submissives are being systematically kidnapped, one from each club. When her friend falls prey to the slavers, FBI victim specialist Gabrielle volunteers to be bait in a club not yet hit: the Shadowlands.

She finds that being a bratty sub comes naturally, especially when she gets to twit the appallingly conservative Master of the trainees. But she soon discovers he’s not as stuffy as she’d thought. Or as mean. She’d expected punishment, even humiliation, but she sure never expected to fall in love with a damned lawyer.

Courtesy of a prima donna ex-wife, Marcus loathes disobedient submissives. When the club owner insists he admit an incredibly bratty trainee, he’s furious. But as he comes to know Gabrielle and sees the alluring sweetness beneath the sass, he starts to fall for her.

Unfortunately, Marcus isn’t the only one who believes the feisty redhead is a prize worth capturing. And in the world of the slaver, such treasure is worth a hefty fee.

This book was fun and full of action. Perfect story and it made me enjoy Master Marcus, even if he’s one of the Doms with the less attitude and I didn’t really connected with him in the previous books.

But the story made me want him to know the true and to help Gabrielle. I liked how he took the trainees after Cullen found Andrea and now he’s more active on the Shadowlands, but the way Z pushed a new trainee was a bit strange.

I didn’t like him in some parts (the questions after Gabrielle was that high was a low blow), but he’s really smart and in some parts I thought he’s just like Z and can read a person really well.

I liked this two together, because even after Marcus discovered the real reasons Gabrielle was actin up, he was still the best possible and looked after her. But the relationship was really perfect and he needed a strong women.

Andrea wants to submit, but not to just any so-called Dom. He has to be tougher than the slum-bred bullies she grew up with. She’d given up finding a true Dom when her friend finagles her a place as a trainee in an exclusive BDSM club with the powerful Shadowlands Masters. Andrea’s thrilled…and terrified.

Forced to accept an unknown submissive into his carefully run trainee program, Master Cullen is furious. Not only is the young woman new to BDSM, but she’s unsuited to her role–armoured in leather like a Domme, she’s more liable to punch a Dom than kneel. He decides to push her right back out the door. But as he ruthlessly intimidates her, punishes her, then comforts her, his glimpses of the woman inside the emotional armour intrigue him and her utter surrender captures his heart.

Although Master Cullen is famous for his unfettered lifestyle, Andrea believes he might be interested in her, until she discovers he’s not just a bartender–he’s a cop. Maybe he’d overlook her past brush with the law, but when another trainee accuses her of stealing money, Andrea’s sure she’s lost the Master she wanted with all her heart.

Photobucket

It was really fun to watch Cullen catches this women, because she’s beautiful and is still learning the rules of BDSM, but the most important of everything is the fact Andrea is a strong women and difficult to handle during some times.

I liked Andrea since the very start and she’s actually fun, but her relationships are bound to failure because she needs a stronger man and it’s very difficult for her to just let go and surrender to her pleasure.

The scenes during the book were really hot and we also learned how the Shadowlands works in more depth, because the trainees are actually a very important part of teaching and Andrea needed this.

Cullen is very strong and accepted the rule as bartender and also is responsible for the trainees and their pleasure. He’s strong and also a cop. This was an interesting book and helped realize how the BDSM scene is difficult at first for single persons.

Beth must yield to become aroused, but she’s too scared to give up control. The last thing she wants is a ruthless, powerful Dom. But that’s just what she gets, and exactly what she needs…

A sadistic husband left Beth scarred, inside and out. Only at the Shadowlands BDSM club does she feel like a woman. But her fears limit her to Doms who won’t overwhelm her— the very ones who cannot arouse her. The Master of the Shadowlands gives her an ultimatum: accept the Dom he assigns or lose her membership. The last thing Beth wants is a ruthless, powerful Dom, but that’s just what she gets.

Asked to take on a problem sub, Nolan sees the issue immediately— although truly submissive, the little redhead is too scared to relinquish control and her Doms have let her get away with it. That will change right now.

As Master Nolan takes Beth under command, compelling her submission, she’s terrified, but the experienced Dom brings her pleasure, not pain. His only demand is that she never lie to him. Under his capable hands, her body comes alive, and she begins to heal. As he pushes her limits, she learns to trust…and then to love. And she realizes he is beginning to care for her in return.

But now her cruel husband has found her, and Master Nolan discovers she’s been lying and lying and lying…

Photobucket

Master Nolan made a very short appearance on Dark Citadel and only for us to understand he was in the Iraq and it’s now returning to the states and the scene, but we also got a little peak on Beth when Z was complaining about a situation that he couldn’t resolve.

So in this book Z forced Beth to accept Master Nolan if she wanted to continue her membership in the Shadowlands, but her problems went deeper than anyone there knew and she just couldn’t accept and trust a Dom after what her bastard husband did to her.

Nolan had no idea what he was getting into but I liked the way he handled Beth fears and made her trust him. he accepted her pace and didn’t rush her just to finish a scene. Plus he’s very observant and always knew when she was suffering and when to just talk.

I liked this book, even if Master Nolan was a bit of a stranger to me, but I liked his way and the submission was different from the other books because Beth lived in the BDSM world for a long time and knew what was expected from her during a play.

I’m not going to talk about the action, because was a bit unnecessary to me.

After Kari breaks up with her date during Beginner’s Night at Club Shadowlands, she’s given the option to continue with an experienced dominant. Despite her steamy fantasies about BDSM, the inexperienced schoolteacher plans to simply observe. Yet under the unyielding hands of Master Dan, she not only participates, but gives him everything he asks for. There is nothing she can hide from him. Not her passion…or her love.

Photobucket

We met Shadowlands during the first book in this series and the place is the hot spot for people who want to enjoy a night of kinky sex knowing there’s safety behind those doors and nothing to stop them.

In this book we start with Kery and her current boyfriend getting familiar with the lifestyle and learning all the rules about the place and the safety behind them. They are newbies and there’s a hole class to explain what is expected and how to fully accept your fantasies.

Keri started with the wrong guy and he treats her really bad since the beginning, but Master Dan, that we met in the first book, is her teacher for the evening and saves her from the asshole(Buck). So Keri wants to know more, but is in doubt since her boyfriend is not on her side anymore, and that’s when Master Dan decides to help her and be her Master for the night.

Master Dan has a few problems since his wife passed away three years ago and now he can’t commit to a sub for more than a night without fear of getting their feelings hurt.

But as we all know Master Dan enjoy his first night and when Keri comes back, he doesn’t let any other Master take her. They started a good relation. She wants to understand more about this lifestyle and since he doesn’t want strings, it sounds good at first, but things get mixed and Dan starts to doubt his feelings for Keri.

I liked the book and thought the relationship was better created than the first one in the series. Since Keri and Dan spent a few nights together before jumping to other things. Plus these two were really good in the sex scenes. Really hot book.

I’ve seen so many freaky things since I started attending Mythos Academy last fall. I know I’m supposed to be a fearless warrior, but most of the time, I feel like I’m just waiting for the next Bad, Bad Thing to happen. Like someone trying to kill me—again.
Everyone at Mythos Academy knows me as Gwen Frost, the Gypsy girl who uses her psychometry magic to find lost objects—and who just may be dating Logan Quinn, the hottest guy in school. But I’m also the girl the Reapers of Chaos want dead in the worst way. The Reapers are the baddest of the bad, the people who murdered my mom. So why do they have it in for me?
It turns out my mom hid a powerful artifact called the Helheim Dagger before she died. Now, the Reapers will do anything to get it back. They think I know where the dagger is hidden, but this is one thing I can’t use my magic to find. All I do know is that the Reapers are coming for me—and I’m in for the fight of my life.

Photobucket

Things are getting more dangerous than ever in Mythos Academy and now Gwen must find an artifact her mother hide. An again it’s the only way to save the humanity from Loki, problem is she has no idea where it is and Loki’s champion is also looking and it’s probably inside the school.

Gwen’s life is not easy and Logan is almost her boyfriend, because now she has reasons to stay away from him. Reapers are popping up from everywhere and nobody is save, but Gwen is improving in her abilities and also learning how to fight better. Double yay.

But the book is all about action and death happens, but this one was really good for the series. It explained a lot about Gwen’s family and also helped understand a bit more of this war.

Can’t wait for the next because now the bad guy is out of the cage and Gwen is trying to save herself.

My name is Gwen Frost, and I go to Mythos Academy; a school of myths, magic and warrior whiz kids, where even the lowliest geek knows how to chop off somebody’s head with a sword and Logan Quinn, the hottest Spartan guy in school, also happens to be the deadliest. But lately, things have been weird, even for Mythos. First, mean girl Jasmine Ashton was murdered in the Library of Antiquities. Then, someone stole the Bowl of Tears, a magical artifact that can be used to bring about the second Chaos War. You know, death, destruction and lots of other bad, bad things. Freaky stuff like this goes on all the time at Mythos, but I’m determined to find out who killed Jasmine and why; especially since I should have been the one who died…Photobucket

I bought the first two books of this series last year and decided this week to read them. The summary made me realize this was exactly the kind of I like. The characters are powerful and solving mysteries about their lives and their places in the world. Plus the mythology is a very important part of the book.

Gwen was a great girl and made me so happy after I discovered she is so important and humble about it. She lives in this very strange and different high school were everyone has some crazy power. At first she doesn’t believe in their history with is kinda strange when she can see and feel emotions from objects and persons. She is not very different from them but I felt very attached to her while she investigated a murdered.

I loved how the book became more dark after she encountered more clues to help her and when she started to believe in the myths. Her mother passed away before the book started and we get the feeling was very close to her mom and this investigation is her way to remember her.

Danger is everywhere in the campus and she actually became friends with a Valkyrie. I liked how this friendship was created, because everyone is a bit posh in the school and Gwen was raised with a cop salary, so she’s nowhere that rich. But things became really good for these two.

There’s a guy and he’s a bad boy crazy for a fight, he’s a Spartan and he’s also a womanizer, but I think he has some feelings for Gwen and it’s afraid of what she can discover of his past. I liked how he always saved her.

“Logan Quinn was the kind of guy who could stab me in the eye with a freaking Twizzler.”

Just when she and Lucas are finally getting close, she learns that his pack has forbidden them from being together. Was it a mistake to pick him over Derek? And it’s not just romance troubling Kylie. An amnesia-stricken ghost is haunting her, delivering the frightful warning, someone lives and someone dies. As Kylie races to unravel the mystery and protect those she loves, she finally unlocks the truth about her supernatural identity, which is far different—and more astonishing—than she ever imagined.

Photobucket

This series is so much fun and the adventures just make things more interesting. We got to see more of Kylie and her very strange and dangerous love life. Between an werewolf and the his pact against the romance things get really ugly.

But Kylie is also in the middle of an investigation related with the newest ghost appearing for her, but I liked how things are turning and we got news of Kylie family and what she really is.

It was strange at first to understand Kylie power and also to see how dangerous her life can be with a crazy vampire hunting her for a romance and his coven meddling over the future.

This book better than the others, but so difficult to explain without telling a few spoilers. I liked how strong Kylie became since she went to Shadow Falls on the first book and she’s getting better at helping the ghosts and understanding how to discover the past of her family.

In the Dante family, one touch was all it took. The heat shared between Constantine Romano and Gianna Dante would not be ignored—even though Constantine left town nearly two years ago! But now he was back and Gianna was about to teach him that a Dante was not to be ignored….

The Italian businessman didn’t anticipate this lovely Dante getting under his skin—but he wouldn’t let anyone else have her, either! Whether or not he believed in the legend of the Inferno, Constantine knew that Gianna was going to be his by whatever means possible. And his brand of persuasion would be oh-so-passionate!

My Thoughts

Last book for the Dante family and this one is Gianna love. She’s the baby girl protected by all the male, brothers and cousins, so you can see how hard it is to actually introduce some new boyfriend to the family, but things were a little different when we discovered that Constantine was her Inferno chosen, we first met him in Dante Contract Marriage, he’s Ariana brother and we followed how important in was for him to achieve success in business.

After months seperated Gianna thought Constantine didn’t want her and started a new relationship with the wrong guy, plus we got to see more from both Constantine and this new guy, they have some secrets from the past, nothing good.

I liked how this couple handled things, but Constantine acted in very bad ways some moments, but he’s kinda perfect and just wanted some money to provide her and create anew family.

Also the end lead us to believe that a new Dante will have a book, now just wait and see.

The Inferno struck without warning, but Draco Dante had no complaints. For his family’s legacy drew him to Shayla Charleston, a mysterious beauty who ignited his blood. Soon he had her in his bed…and just as quickly she was gone.

After months of searching, Draco finally found the woman who was his destiny…the woman who was about to bear his child. But secrets began to rise, and Draco was torn between past strife with their families, and a future with his wife and son. Could Draco trust she shared their Inferno bond? Or had Shayla agreed to their marriage pact for an entirely different reason?

My Thoughts

This series is almost over and we get to see a very strong woman. In the same party Rafe found his Inferno bride we discovered Shayla, and Draco found the women of his life. But things are not that simple and these two suffered a lot before finally love each other.

Shayla was party crashing because she wanted a glimpse of the Dante and the next day she had a business meeting with them, but she also wanted a wild night and to lose her V card since it was her birthday and freedom was her wish. That’s how she met Draco, he was close to the door and the first to see her, but when their touch made sparkles fly neither could escape for the night.

Shayla has a new job and vanished the night after, but Draco never stopped looking for her and we discovered that she was pregnant and her grandmother is pure evil. These two had to overcome lots of issues from both families, especially after they found some secrets from the past.

Great book and loved Draco.
