When a patch of ice sends attorney Ginger Paulson head-over-high-heels down a flight of stairs, she has no one to care for her young son and her invalid father – until lethally sexy Kane McKay shows up at the hospital, determined to prove his cowboy chivalry. Past experience has inoculated her against take-charge men, but even Ginger isn’t immune to Kane’s invasive charm and Built Ford Tough body.
For two years rancher Kane McKay has followed the Little Buddies mentoring program’s cardinal rule – hands off his Little Buddy Hayden’s mama. But one look at Ginger’s bruised body and Kane is through watching the stubborn woman take care of everyone but herself. The feisty, curvy redhead needs his help, and he’ll give her the hands-on type whether she likes it or not.
After Kane throws out doctor’s orders and issues his own demands – her full sexual submission – Ginger realizes Kane’s caring nature extends beyond just fulfilling her physical needs.
Can the former hell-raiser convince the gun-shy single mom to look beyond his past – toward a shared future?

I’m loving this series and this book was a good surprise, especially since I didn’t had Kane as high on the McKay list. After he changed his name and all the partying, especially after the way he treated Skylar. Not the best person in the family, but he’s been kinda missing in the books and didn’t get that much vibe about it.

Ginger is a great woman and I felt bad when I realized she would end up with Kane, but they are actually great together. Ginger is a strong woman, works hard and is also raising a boy, plus lives with her father after he got in accident and is currently in a wheelchair. She’s like a super woman and needed a greet guy, but Kane was the perfect for her and he’s sweet and calm, things the family needed.

Kane likes Ginger, but since he’s responsible for her boy in a big brother, little brother place. So the relationship is no go from the beginning and every one still thinks he’s a batboy.

I liked these two together and Kane really changed a lot from those days of wild parties. He’s so good with kids and a very honorable guy, this was a good book.

Keely McKay knows Jack—and Jack Donohue is a certified pain in her Wranglers. The lone girl in the prolific McKay family, Keely needs another man giving her orders like she needs a hole in her boot. What she does need is a restoration specialist so she can open her physical therapy clinic—and prove she’s left her wild-child days behind. That means dealing with buttoned-down, uptight Jack.
Jack is this close to securing a career make-or-break project, until he learns his lack of marital status puts him out of contention. When the notoriously hot-tempered and hot-bodied Keely begs him for help, he proposes a crazy idea. He’ll oversee her project—if she acts the part of his loving fiancée.
Their sizzling lust makes it all too easy to go from butting heads to knocking boots—but outside the bedroom they’re as mismatched as ever. The McKays remind Jack of the humble upbringing he left behind, and cowgirl Keely feels she doesn’t measure up to Jack’s big-city lifestyle.
When the dust settles, Jack and Keely must face the fact they’re not fooling anyone but themselves—or they’ll risk losing the real deal.

This is Keely book and she’s being waiting for her happy ending since book one and it was not a surprise for me when jack finally managed to get her.

This was such a good book and Jack is really good in the bedroom, or the floor. He’s definitely has charm when you through the exterior of polished greatness. Keely is a great girl and has no problem in creating a mess, she has five older brothers and had to stand up for herself.

The relationship between these two is growing since the last three books, but I never realized jack was so good, it was kinda boring to me compared to the cowboys, but he’s a good person and deserved to have a nice ad normal life after what his ex-fiancé did to him.

It was fun how these two decided to pretend an engagement to help in Jack’s job and how everything ended so good. Sparks fly and these two are great in getting back together.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall-in love. Rough Riders, Book 7 Soldier Cameron McKay has found his niche, and it ain’t ropin’ steers and wearin’ spurs. His deputy sheriff job, plus battle injuries that ended his military career, keep him right where he wants to be: Off the ranch and away from his family’s pity. His darkest war memories are on lockdown, leaving him skeptical he’ll ever find a woman who wants a man who’s less than whole. Domini Katzinski has had to control every aspect of her life since age eleven, when she was orphaned in the Ukraine. Watching others’ relationships crumble has convinced her to focus on the short-term and find a take-charge man to whom she can relinquish total sexual control. Cam fits the bill: gorgeous, with a brooding vulnerability no one else seems to see. Plus, he has his own handcuffs. Once Cam gets over his surprise that sweet, shy Domini wants to be dominated, he is back to issuing orders. Their passion is as hot as a rocket-propelled grenade-and if Domini has her way, it’s a one-shot deal. Cam wants more, and launches a full-out sensual assault…until tragedy strikes, forcing him to change tactics as he tries to keep past demons from blowing their future together all to hell… Warning: this book contains down and dirty games of good cop/bad cop, salty language, sweet ‘n hot lovin’, ménage a trois, and hooah a hero packin’ serious heat.

Photobucket

This was a strange book at first because Cam was not around on the last few and since his injury I don’t know what to think about him and now he has a job and a house but it’s afraid to get close to people.

We met Domini, but only passing and she sounds like such a sweet girl that I didn’t thought it was right to put her with Cam, but after a couple of chapters I realized that she’s is so much better.

Domini is a strong and very capable girl, but she suffered in her original country and decided to take a chance on the US, her life is definitely better now, but things were not so great until a couple of months back and she’s still trying to help people. Sweet to the extreme.

I’m not gonna say anything about the ménage, because I honestly think is was not necessary, but I liked how Domini managed to canvince Cam to let go and enjoy life in town and with his family without worrying about what people would think. Plus the sex between these two was really awesome and I didn’t expected Cam being so Dominant.

Wyoming rancher Quinn McKay thought he’d only have to bide time until his levelheaded wife came to her senses and called a halt to this “trial separation”. He never believed the marital rough patch would drag on for a coon’s age.

Libby McKay knew when she married the gruff, laid-back cowboy that he wasn’t prone to blathering about his feelings. But three months have passed and her stubborn-as-a-mule husband is still living by himself in the horse trailer. It seems he’d rather hold onto his pride than hold onto her.

Quinn realizes Libby is determined to move on if he doesn’t loosen his tongue and he’ll lose the only woman he’s ever loved. In a last-ditch effort to keep her in his life, he offers her one weekend of uninterrupted sexual decadence.

Reigniting the passion is easy. The hard part comes after the sheets have cooled and they find out if what remains is strong enough to survive past mistakes.

Photobucket

I’m disappointed because this couple was only maintained passing in a couple of books and now they only get a novella to solve their problems. This was not enough for me and I want more form Quinn and Libby.

She’s sweet and a great housewife, but is unhappy with her marriage and feels like a failure because she can’t get pregnant, so the relationship is hanging by a breath. I liked Quinn but he needed to be more upfront with his feelings and desires. The marriage is really boring at the moment.

I liked how Libby handled things because the present was not a good moment for these tow and they needed a good push in the right direction. Quinn living in a trailer helped him put perspective in things of his life and appreciate Libby better.

Libby was a bit obsessed with having a baby and was suffocating Quinn, but talking was not the greatest thing between these two and the fresh start helped them find reasoning within their problems.

As a walking advertisement for the tattoo shop she’s set up in a small Wyoming town, India Ellison is well acquainted with preconceived notions. Despite the odd looks, life is good. She’s clean and sober, dotes on her sister’s kids and, best of all, spends most of her free time with her best buddy, Colt McKay. Reformed bad boy Colt never expected three years of sobriety to lead to three years of abstinence. Curbing his craving for booze and random sexual encounters, however, is nothing compared to the ever-increasing craving for his hot-tempered, hot-bodied best friend, India. Too bad she’s his A.A. sponsor. Too bad she hasn’t a clue that he’s been head-over-bootheels in love with her from day one. After an unexpected, steamy interlude, all India can think about is riding the sexy cowboy instead of her motorcycle. Or are they risking their friendship for a fling that could burn them both?

Photobucket

We met Colt since the second book and watched as he struggled to overcome the alcohol problem after a series of mistakes and Dag death really affected him while all the rest of the family was more worried about themselves. It’s really interesting for me to see the two troublemaker together in this book after three years as best friends the actually decided to jump in a relationship.

Never saw them together actually, because Colt is wild and I though he needed a nice girl to balance him, but after Lorelei started in the emotions and I realized the best person for him is really India, they spent some many times together and know a lot about the other that the only thing missing was the sex, and oh boy that was amazing.

The interesting part was how the family don’t know Colt at all and India made them aware that he was suffering and things were really difficult and they didn’t help any moment, it’s really strange because they always bond and only Kade and Keely were supportive.

Since India suffered and her life was really difficult and the overdose made her stop and start over. So now she has a tattoo shop in this little town, so she’s kinda of a stranger to the town. Colt helped her and was the perfect guy.

This book was really good and the sex was ohm. Loved how Colt and India finally found their way in this life.

Chassie West Glanzer hasn’t been a stranger to drama and tragedy. A year of wedded bliss to sexy-as-sin cowboy Trevor Glanzer has brought her the happiness and contentment she never thought she’d find, and mellowed Trevor’s rodeo wanderlust. Then Trevor’s old roping partner ambles up the driveway—and Chassie’s life changes drastically.
Trevor never expected to see Edgard Mancuso again, after it became clear he couldn’t be the man Edgard needed. Now Edgard is back from Brazil to sort out their tangled past, and Trevor is plagued with feelings he thought he’d buried over three years ago. Although Trevor is hat-over-bootheels in love with his sweet, feisty wife, the sense his life is missing a piece has always gnawed at him.
Chassie’s shock that Edgard and Trevor were once lovers turns to fear of losing her husband. Or worse, fear that Trevor will stay with her only out of a sense of duty. Yet as the three of them spend time together, the sins of the past blur and fade, leaving raw emotion—and unbridled passion.
Passion that could heal…or cause irreparable damage to their future.

Photobucket
Since Long Hard Ride we are familiar with Edgard and Trevor relationship, but they separated after Edgard left to Brazil. The thing is Trevor is afraid of this side of him, he still enjoy women, but also has affection and the sex with Edgard is really good. I had no problem with this relationship, but after the way Trevor reacted when he realized Edgard was leaving him and he did nothing to get him back, I seriously think he’s screwed up.

Now we have this story years after they separated and Edgard is back, but Trevor is married. Yes, he’s married and actually happy about it, not suffering because he lost the biggest thing of his life, so for me not a good sign of love. Chassie is a perfect girl and is of course related to the famous McKay’s, but only through the mother side and she lost her brother and father with lest than a year of difference.

She suffered, he suffered but they look fine and the sex is good, so Edgard coming along for me was a bit unnecessary and he could found another person. I understand he never got over losing Trevor, but at first the strange arrangement between these three was forceful, especially after known Edgard was 100% gay and now out of nothing he’s attracted to a woman.

The sex scenes was really good, but the emotions was not my thing. I usually enjoy threesomes and like books that talk about the theme naturally, my only problem was really with Trevor.

The strongest bonds are the ones unseen Rough Riders series Businesswoman Skylar Ellison is firmly in control of her life. So getting tangled up with a sexy Wyoming cowboy-and conceiving a baby in the parking lot of a honky-tonk-wasn’t in her plan. Since it appears the daddy has taken off for greener pastures, the only thing to do is pull up her bootstraps and carry on alone. Cattle rancher Kade McKay returns home after a year on the range, and is knocked for a loop when he learns he’s the father of a three-month-old baby girl. When Skylar refuses to marry him, Kade grits his teeth, moves in and plays house by her rules to prove he’s a man in for the long haul. Despite Skylar’s insistence they are to remain strictly parenting partners, their old passions flare hot as a brush fire, spurring Kade to demand absolute sexual surrender from the headstrong woman. Skylar willingly submits her body to the hot-blooded cowboy but she’s leery of handing Kade the reins to her heart. Can Kade convince Skylar the wicked sex games aren’t a temporary distraction? Or will he have to bust out the ropes to show her he wants to be tied to her.forever? Warning: this book contains: no holes barred kinky sex scenes, wicked rope play, blunt language, and yowza lots of hot cowboy nekkidness.

Photobucket

This is the first book on the other side of the family. Kade is a cousin from all the McKay’s with a C from the previous books and he’s story actually started on Cowgirl Up and Ride. He and Skylar dated during a few weeks and when she realized he was lying to her and pretending to be his brother, she ended things with him. But what they didn’t knew was that on the only night during sex they forgot about condoms and now 12 months later there’s a new baby for the wild McKay’s.

The thing is after Skylar dumped him, Kade decided to live on the mountains without a cellphone or connection with the normal excepted for a few talks with the family occasionally, so Skylar never managed to tell him about the pregnancy and thought he just dumped her.

After months now baby Elisa is already born when they actually managed to talk, of course the whole family knows about it and Elisa is such cute little girl and the first girl on the new generation. Without knowing about Elisa he actually wanted to get Skylar back and tried to date her once again.

I loved how cute and sweet Kade was with Elisa and he actually helped Skylar on her crazy business. He’s a perfect cowboy and these two deserved to be together. Skylar suffered on her past and now is having a normal life for an exchange. This book was a great addiction to the series.

Goody-two boots AJ Foster has waited her entire life for her dream cowboy Cord McKay to see her as more than the neighbor girl in pigtails. Now that she’s old enough to stake her claim on him, she’s pulling out all the sexual stops and riding hell-bent for leather—straight for his libido.

Divorced rancher Cord has sworn off all women…until innocent AJ suggests he teach her how to ride bareback—and he realizes she doesn’t mean horses or bulls. Between his responsibilities running his massive ranch, missing his young son and dealing with the sexual shenanigans of his brother and cousins, Cord is more than willing to take AJ up on her offer. On a trial basis.

The fun and games tie them both up in knots. AJ isn’t willing to settle for less than the whole shootin’ match with her western knight. But for Cord, even though the sexy cowgirl sets his blood ablaze, he’s determined to resist her efforts to lasso his battered heart.

Sweet, determined AJ has the power to heal—or heel—the gruff cowboy…unless Cord’s pride keeps him from admitting their relationship is more than a simple roll in the hay.

This is the third book in the series and it’s very impressing how Lorelei James managed to create a brand new story for each cowboy and they are all very erotic. We are following the McKay’s and each one of them is hotter and very sexy cowboys.

This is the first one to talk about a taboo. Cord was once married and has a little boy, but since his ex-wife decided to fill for divorce and move to the city, he became a very boring person, but AJ was in love with him for years. The taboo is centered around the ages, since AJ is barely legal and Cord is several years older than her. Plus she’s a virgin.

I remember her from Long Hard Ride when Channing though she was dating Colby, even if she only had eyes for Cord since she was five and he saved her. But she’s shy and it was a big surprise for me to see her acting bold and following her rules to get exactly what she wanted from him. Very nice part and she made all her cowboy very happy.

Cord had some doubts about a relationship why AJ, because she’s younger, his sister best friend and like all the McKay’s he wants more from sex than just a vanilla relationship and doesn’t want to scare the pretty little virgin away. But these two were really hot together and made every sense in the end. AJ already was familiar with Cord son and he’s such a sweet baby.

This was a really good book and I love some series, it’s fun to follow the characters that we met in previous books and also hear some news about couples from other stories. I liked how Lorelei managed to create an erotica series showing different kinds of dominating man.

Summary

Workin up a hot, sticky sweat is pure pleasure with a hard-ridin cowboy or two. Struggling stock contractor Gemma Jansen swallows her pride and tracks down circuit rider Cash Big Crow to offer him a job managing her ranch. Cash agrees on one condition: theirs won’t be strictly a working relationship. She’s the boss during the day, but once she’s corralled in the bedroom, Cash calls the shots. Despite concerns about their age difference, Gemma consents. Cash suspects the sexy widow hides an untapped wild streak. He intends to loosen her tightly held reins of control even if he has to break out his horsewhip to do it. But Cash is in for a surprise. Gemma proves a rough and ready participant in any leather-n-lace game Cash dreams up. Between riding herd on his wayward daughter, Macie, and rowdy cowboy Carter McKay doggin Macie’s every boot step, Cash struggles to hide his true feelings for Gemma except this time, Gemma’s grabbed the bull by the horns and she’s playing for keeps. Summer’s going to be a hot one at the Bar 9.
My Thoughts
This is the second book in this erotica series and I discovered that cowboys are great at little ménage, plus they like to spice things up with some bondage now and them. Very steamy.
This book tells two stories at the same time. We all remember Cash from book one, he was a great friend of Colby, plus he’s older and usually got really hot and bothered arguing with Gemma. She is a widow trying to make her husband work all alone.
Gemma was really interested in Cash, but also afraid because the only men in her life was her husband and she’s older than him, making her feel really bad, but Cash is good at showing her exactly how he feels and how much her body is perfect beyond any younger beauty. I loved the sex scenes between these two, because Cash likes to play a little with bondage to make things hotter and Gemma had a fantasy of two guys at the same time and Cash made that happen for her by inviting Trent.
We were also introduced to Cash daughter, Macie and she sounds like a working girl that fight to get her own money and independency. She’s reconnecting with her father and stating a new life. After they went to live on Gemma’s ranch, she also got on a little hot romance with Carter McKay, he’s Colby younger brother and a true artist, very talented but the ranch job is not really for him so his trying to find his place on Earth.
I liked these two romances because we get a very different side from each one. But on one thing they are equal: love is bigger than anything and at the end HE were everywhere. Plus we got to see more from Colby during a visit on the ranch. And he’s brother is nothing like him.
