I jumped at the chance to read this fourth book, mostly because I missed Brinley, but this last installment was so much more than just gossip, we can clearly see the girls are growing up and facing a few dangerous path, but they always chose the right thing and this last book left me hoping for more in this series.

Brinley was a busy girl and she had to handle two things: her new boo is just a townie and don’t have money, but make her happy and her heart race, so the moments together are so worthy; and last issue is more demanding because now she has to help Taryn, if you’re following this series is pretty clear these two don’t get along like never.

Evan has a great new guy and handle him and all those things connected with fame are a bit too much for her, but I think she could had done a little better when we think about her friendship and all those years she spent in GA. She should now things would change.

Taryn and Ellie are actually facing the same problem. Their parents are running to be the next vice-president. so they have to handle media and gossip, but worst off all are those boyfriends. Guys problem are always the most difficult and we can clearly see these two fighting to help their parents and still trying to maintain a normality.

I really liked this book, except for Evan, but I was never really her fan. Brinley was awesome and Ellie is finally learning how to handle things.

So Winter is coming and the drama never ends, but this time things lots control for a few of those girls and Brinley is still my favorite after everything she did and how much she helped Ellie, who I still think is so damn naïve, that it fells like she let things pass just to be happy for awhile.

I don’t like Taryn and how much she became lost in this relationship with Gabe, because came on can’t she see that it’s clear he likes Ellie and she’s just a fling, but Brooke that actually likes her it’s pushed to the corner.

Evan is getting really good in this strange world and becoming a really nice character to follow, but still needs to learn a few things with Brinley to actually own the news.

This book was better than the first one, mostly because we already know the girls and there’s also some stories to follow so it was nice seeing where things could go, but I felt better with the girls POV and the night in question was more interesting.

 

Ellie is learning a little of control on her emotions but we can still see how much she struggles to accept people is bad and gossip is fuel for those schools, but her personal life is actually one open book after her mother became a congresswoman.

 

Brinley is my favorite of the bunch for now because she actually takes control of the situations and changes the courses before anyone can think off saying something bad about her. She’s a queen and knows where to press for the right points.

 

Taryn is actually getting really good with these politics and shows how much her family has spine and control. She learned to fight back and actually win, but the best part is how much she suffers, showing she’s good from the heart and it’s only defending herself.

I have a slight problem with this book for a simple point. It was a bit confusing for me the POVs, I liked that could chose and how much it shoed inside the girls mind, but it was a bit too much reading 4 different people reactions for one single night.

 

I liked the story. It’s full of intrigue and suspicious. These girl are like dynamite and everything it’s a point for explosion. I liked the drama, but it was so fun seeing how much these girls could lie and get away with everything.

 

I liked Evan more than them other girls, she sound more normal and less trouble maker than the rest of the bunch, but they are so evil together, it’s like a TV show where every problem could be easily changed for the right price and words. Taryn was a bit to naïve for being raised in California and her father was a governor, but she learned real fast how to save herself in DC right? Brinley was the only one that I actually thinks has the right mind for a DC girl, always thinking about her next move and getting the best place ever. Ellie was a bit too boring for me, with her problems and her sensitivity.

 

I liked the setting too, because it’s so fun to see things happening in DC where all the drama unfold.
