Summary:

Unlucky-in-love PR manager Kate Braithwaite doesn’t think her Christmas could get any suckier. Until a trip into work on Christmas Day leaves her snowbound in the Fifth Avenue department store with her boss’s far-too-tempting playboy son Ryder Sinclair. Ryder’s rugged, reckless and none too pleased to be stuck in a place he hates with an uptight workaholic like Kate—but as the night draws on, the lights go out and the temperature rises, until they’re both wondering is this the season to get lucky?

Review:

Katherine and Ryder were a very difficult couple for me because at first I couldn’t connect with neither. Kat was a bit cold and everything was mechanical for her, so I liked halfway into this novella the way Ryder showed some freedom. Their night together was extra hot and I think she needed after the way her boyfriend dumped her with an e-mail. At first thought you think Ryder is just another playboy, but in reality his life is completely different and he showed a nurturing side talking about his daughter. I liked these two together in the end and they match.

Review:

I liked this novella, things happened a little too fast, but it was nice meeting these two lost souls and watching them finding each other made this christmas perfect. My only problem was the speed, but they are good together. Mitch has suffered a lot and Christmas was a difficult time for him, so I can understand his reasons for judging the holiday and trying to stay away. Ellie was a nice girl and I don’t think she loved her ex-husband that much, because she talks like they friends more than ever. I think these two are nice together and the sex was extra hot.
