Summary:

In a novel that’s perfect for fans of Fifty Shades of Grey,Stacey Kennedy returns to Club Sin with another wicked and wild tale of submission, seduction, and love.

At Las Vegas’s exclusive Club Sin, Aidan Knight is the Master, unleashing the erotic yearnings of his submissive lovers. But his dominant façade conceals a devastating loss—something he instantly recognizes in his personally trained submissive Cora Adams. Sworn to unearth her secrets, Aidan uses his seductive skills to ignite her wildest desires until Cora yields to the pleasure she can find only with him.

Cora came to the BDSM club to act out her sub-and-dom fantasies without ever revealing the heartbreak that haunts her. But Aidan’s masterful touch is bringing her closer to the edge . . . and deeper into a world of control and surrender. He refuses to allow her to submit to any other man—nor does she want to. It’s a dangerous game they’re playing. For as they give in to passion, they must lay bare their souls for a love that could heal—and free—them both.

Review:

I like this series and it gives a feel like the Club Shadowlands from Cherise Sinclair, but with a softer side. It’s different from Stacey other series and at the same time we can see her touch from the first chapter. Cora is extremely realistic, with a normal family and job, but at the same time she has some urges for BDSM, her life is not the same ever since she discovered the different world of pleasure in spanking.

I liked to see her fears and hesitations with a normal relationship and at the same time continue with her nights of bondage and pleasure in Club Sin. The problem in Cora’s life is Aidan, she feel on love with him and has some fears because he’s still mourning the loss of his wife. It’s completely understandable her fears, but at the same time I was hoping for her to come clean and explain to him, because we see from the start, their relationship is based on trust and Aidan is oblivious to everything related to love.

I thought these two made such a beautiful couple. I also wanted to see more of his parents, but for me the book is all about Cora.

Erotica Review: Claimed by Stacey Kennedy

Claimed (Club Sin, #1)

Presley Flynn is ripe to experience her secret fantasies . . . and Dmitri Pratt wants nothing more than to fulfill them. Once inside the elite Club Sin in Las Vegas, Presley is nervous but excited—and determined to surrender to her every desire. Dmitri is her Master, and his touch is like fire. With each careful, calculated caress, he unleashes her wildest inhibitions, giving her unimagined pleasure.
Presley is different than the other submissives Dimitri has mastered. The BDSM lifestyle is new to her, and so are the games they play at Club Sin. From the start, Presley stirs emotions in him far beyond the raw purity between a dom and the perfect sub. For the ecstasy they share goes beyond the dungeon igniting a passion that claims the very depths of the heart.

I really loved this BDSM story for the time leght more than anything, because no relationship can be created in one night and we see Dimitri is helping her get along with her body needs and what she wants more than anything.

But what I liked more was Presley and her courage to discover a new sex life that can actually satisfy her after her dumb fiancé cheated on her. She broke up with the dummy and it’s trying to find her place and fulfill her needs.

I loved this couple and how much they showed some grow in this book. A short time passes, but we can clearly see they communicating and learning about the other, like in a normal relationship and not just D/s night.

Summary

The Pact of Seduction has one rule—fulfill your ultimate fantasy. Bella’s problem, she can’t live up to her vow. But her failure spins events that lead her into unknown territory. Kole, a Dom at the sex club Castle Dolce Vita, wasn’t part of her fantasy, but he’s about to show her he should have been.

Kole is more than willing to introduce Bella to BDSM since he’s held an interest in her for some time. But the feisty woman isn’t easily tamed and her strong personality proves to be difficult. While she might be determined to keep him at a distance, Kole has other ideas. He won’t allow her to shut him out.

A pact between best friends brought them together, emotional barriers tear them apart. Kole skillfully reminds Bella through pleasure and punishment that she is now his submissive, and her place is under his command.

My Thoughts
The first book on this series was really good and now we get to see how Bella fulfills her fantasy since this hole thing was her idea.
This book was not what expected because we started thinking Bella’s fantasy was having sex with another women, but everything changed and now we get to see her with uber sexy Dom Kole.
At first it was a surprise for me because she doesn’t act much submissive but things turned better than ever after I realized that these two have a really great chemistry, plus he made her surrender in such a glorious way.
In the first book we met him and I got the felling we would be seeing him again, but not with Bella, since he’s desire for pain is very strong and in this book he was very gentle and not everything he could be because he wanted her so bad and since is her first time in BDSM he tried to be strong but not excessive.
I liked these two together and the spicy scenes were really good, plus Bella needed to deal with some issues from her past and Kole was the perfect person to help her.
Cant wait for the next book now.

Summary

Four best friends embrace their fantasies and make a pact of seduction to live out their deepest and darkest desires. The women place their lives in the hands of fate and one short straw declares Marley will be the first to awaken her secret wishes.

Reed, a Dom at sex club Castle Dolce Vita, has lived the BDSM lifestyle for awhile, but has yet to find a submissive that suits him. That is until he meets Marley, a woman seeking to indulge her fantasies.

As Reed guides her through a night of pleasure, Marley brings more to him than a perfect submissive–she stirs emotions in him long ago lost. By binding Marley, he runs up against his own limits, and now he has to choose between his self-protective barriers or surrendering to the wildfire Marley has reignited in his heart.

My Thoughts
The book start at Marley 25th birthday and she’s happy with her life but a bit bored. After some drinks are poured Marley and her three best friends decide to make a pact and fulfill their darkest fantasies. They share with the others and will help each other, Marley was lucky and she is the first.
Marley is a teacher and wants for one to be controlled as in a light BDSM adventure. That’s how we came to met Master Reed. He is a Dom in the Castle Dolce Vita club, a very exclusive environment to help people with BDSM life. Master Reed was looking for a new sub and came across Marley on the club forum website.
I liked how these two fit perfectly. She wanted a taste of this life and he’s an expert on light BDSM, but I felt so sad for him. After his girlfriend and sub broke their relationship two years ago, he never found a women that could touch his heart and fantasies. Marley does that and even more. Master Reed is a bastard for a short time but he come to his senses really fast and the end was sweet and sexy.
This was a novella that really entertained me. As a BDSM fan I could understand the plot and loved the characters personality. Now I can’t wait for the rest of the series to be released.

Summary

Tess Jennings, now a member of the Memphis Police Department, is on her first cold case. The suspected suicide of Lizbeth Knapp ten years ago isn’t a theory her family accepts—they believe she was murdered.

But the case is only one of Tess’s worries. Ghosts are talking, and word of her abilities rapidly spreads. A dark ghost is terrifying the spirits of Memphis, and she must force the entity to cross over.

Tess doesn’t have to do this alone. Not only does she have her ghost-lover, Kipp McGowen, but the department has brought in a medium. Dane Wolfe might answer all her questions, but he also brings a world of trouble. Will Tess finally have all she’s ever wanted, or will everything she’s vowed to protect be ripped away?

My Thoughts

After reading the first book and loving Tess, the second book only made things better. Kipp is still around and Tess life is more grounded. She now has a job that make possible not only talking with ghost but also helping them cross over. She works for the Memphis Police in the cold cases area and her first job receiving a pay check made things really difficult for Tess and Kipp.

Tess and Kipp are still blissfully together and trying to enjoy this crazy relationship of them, but Tess boss decided she needs a little help discovering and using properly her gifts and now she has to work with Dane. I might say that I didn’t liked him since the first look, especially because he treated Kipp really bad.

This book was a little different from the first but following the same line, now the ghost are calling for help and the only person that can help them is Tess, plus she also discover several things about this world that she considered impossible, like witches and now her life depends on who she trust.

Dane actually helped but I think he has other plans and Tess is only part of the game, still hates how he treated Kipp and the investigation he wasn’t really helpful. Now Kipp is missing, mostly because of Dane  and something he saw but I believe is actually something darker, maybe Dane is involved maybe not. Who knows.

This book was more dangerous and has more action than the first one but the romance suffers a bit and now Tess and Kipp are separated and I can’t wait to see hoe Tess will discover a way to save him. plus the end was a real surprise for me.

Excerpt

I looked over my shoulder and spotted a middle-aged ghost dressed in a double-breasted black coat, white dress shirt, and fitted tanned breeches.

“I beg your pardon,” I snapped. “But I don’t deserve to be glared at—or spoken to in that nasty tone—when I’ve done nothing wrong.”

“You can hear me?” His eyes widened. “You can see me?”

“Yes I can.” I returned the glower he not-so-kindly offered me. “Why are you so rude?”

“I-I-I…”

“Classic.” I snorted. “The ghost is beside himself. Isn’t it supposed to be the live person who is shocked when they see a ghost?”

“You’re alive?”

Now he was being just downright mean. I shut off the faucet, and with the water dripping off my fingertips, I turned to face him. “Do I look dead to you?”

He gave me a once over with an expression that left something to be desired. “No, but why are you glowing?”

“Yes, well,” I wiped my damp hands on my skinny jeans, “that’s my ability.”

He examined my gold hue—or so I’d been told that is how it appeared—and by his huge eyes this revelation stunned him.

Summary

Ghosts harass and annoy Tess to save their souls. Sometimes she helps them. Other times she ignores them. But one ghost will give her no choice. Kipp, a former cop with the Memphis Police Department, will stop at nothing to gain her help, including using his ghostly charms to seduce her.

Tess must help solve the five-year-old cold case of Hannah Reid’s disappearance, because solving the case will save Kipp. But a bigger problem presents itself. Tess is falling in love with a ghost. Now she must decide. Keep Kipp forever, or find the killer.

My Thoughts

I found the summary for this book really different and after reading a review in Smitten With Reading, I decided to read it and discover all about Tess world. Ghosts are not usually my favorites paranormal creatures, because you run away from something that can teletransport and is already death, so they are pretty dangerous.

I liked Tess personality and how she tried to have a normal life and still help those lost ghost, because can you imagine being followed 24/7 and also have to work on a regular basis. Must be really difficult and after I read a date going wrong I can totally understand why sometimes she just wants some time for herself.

The book start with Tess running late and trying to get to work otherwise her boss will make her life miserable. She work as an event manager assistant, nothing even remotely close to ghosts, but they always find her, because of her aura. This day was when Kipp started following her.

But she didn’t acknowledge him and he got creative during the day. At night she had a date and he started saying bad works that only she could her it and made her totally hot and bothered. Bottom line, he got her attention and she went home alone.

Kipp was a detective and was killed following a lead in a cold case and now he’s trying to make Tess help him discover who the killer is. But there are two problems: 1. Tess doesn’t want to talk with anyone about her gifts, because they usually think she’s crazy and 2. The killer is most likely a cop.

So we followed Tess proving to a bunch of cops that she actually was talking with Kipp and I found these scenes hilarious, because the questions were so strange. The investigation was a little different then what I expected because they had to hide and discover things different ways. Also the host of the girl killed helped a lot.

But they most strange part for me was the sex, because he can’t touch her, and let’s face it is a little awkward not to kiss him and still act like a boyfriend. But I liked the investigation and the detectives were really funny to have around. They’re all friends and talk dirty with each other. Overall I liked the book.
