"Cordina’s Crown Jewel, " part of the Cordina’s Royal Family miniseries, marks Roberts’s 100th title with Harlequin and Silhouette. This brand-new story features Princess Camilla de Cordina, who runs away, assumes a new identity, and begins working for archaeologist Delaney Caine. But as her irritation towards Delaney grows into desire, she knows she’ll soon have to reveal her true identity.

This is the final book in the series and it was a written many years after the original forth as a special edition, but I find it totally unnecessary because the original princes of Cordina are all married and the evil man is gone for good.

But I read this book as a regular romance, without pushing for the Cordina family and they barely made appearance. Camilla is young and has worked her entire life as a princess and now she’s twenty five without a clue of her future.

I liked the relationship with Delaney, because he’s like a bear and only complains but he’s actually brilliant and helped Camilla realize life can be all about research and discoveries.

For the romance alone the book was fine, not all that exciting, but she’s a princess and the her life is really boring without the glamour, and it’s all about work and work. Fun!

LADY OF MYSTERY

Prince Bennett of Cordina had been making gossip headlines since his teens – but the prim and proper Lady Hannah Rothchild wasn’t his usual choice in women. Something in her eyes intrigued him, and he was determined to discover what she was trying to hide.

Hannah knew that Bennett could easily jeopardize her safety, so from the moment they met she was on her guard. Yet despite all her attempts to avoid him, she was falling under his spell, making them both more vulnerable to the dangers that surrounded them. She’d lost her heart to a man she was forced to deceive – but then, love knows no right or wrong.

PhotobucketThird book was not perfect but I enjoyed after Hannah started struggling with her character. I liked Bennett since the first book and already had an imagine of his perfect match, but Hannah was a surprise and her lies made their relationship start in a rocky bottom.

So Hannah is lying and pretending to be the good girl and very boring, but Bennett is used to deal with horses and he could see right through her lies and it made the attraction really strong for these two, but since it’s her job, she just can’t forget and needs to keep him save without him knowing about it.

So the action was the break point for me to actually enjoy the book. We can see how all the older couples are still together and also the big villain is finally free from prison and it’s back to destry the family.

It was good in the end, but the romance was not the best of the series.

In Eve Hamilton’s youth, His Royal Highness Alexander de Cordina had played the part of a fairy-tale prince, but seven years ago Eve had learned that its villains were undeniably real. She had also learned to put her childhood dreams behind her.

It was Alexander’s request that brought Eve, along with her theatrical troupe, back to Cordina. She still took his breath away with her flawless beauty, and just the sight of her natural sensuality made him ache. It soon became evident that the dangers would never remain in the past – but neither would the desires.

It’s interesting seeing Eve again and in a strange relationship with Alexander when we all thought she would end up with the playboy. She was very important on the end of Affaire Royale, by helping save Brie and getting the family attention.

She was just a teenager than and now ten years after her first visit to the palace, she’s back and very successful business women as a request of the Alexander to help children, impressive right?

That young girl who just wanted to be an actress became a very good producer and now owns a world renowned group of artists that will perform on Cordina to help raise money for kids treatment on hospitals, but the bogey man is back and terrorizing the royal family once again, the interesting thing is that his still in jail.

I liked how the romance was handled during the book, because knowing Alexander from the previous book and how serious he is, Eve is actually the perfect girl for him, because she is fun and was raise to be a lady. I actually liked this two together and the series is in a good path.

First book in this series, but I didn’t like this cover!! I liked the plot about a princess with amnesia and a sexy bodyguard helping her keep save and very happy. Reeve had he’s troubles with Cordina way of royalty but loved Gabriella for so long, that an attempt to kill her was all it took for him to jump and help.

I liked this book, because we could met and love Brie without all the pretense of royalty. She wanted to rediscover herself and work to remember how kidnapped her in the first place.

She’s really sweet, but with a lot of obligations and good head to help people. Reeve was just a guy trying to re-start in life, for years he worked on security and was once a cop, but now he wants to be a farmer and watch life pass very calmly.

The romance and action were really good, because we could follow as Brie was discovering things and she’s really smart despise having been protected since child. The family was trying to hide some bad things, but Brie fought hard to know the truth.
